APES AND CHIMPS HUNTED ILLEGALLY IN AFRICA
Просмотров 18Год назад
Heartbreaking to see these beautiful, intelligent animals hunted because 'bush meat' is considered a delicacy in some parts of the world. They are our closest relatives in the animal kingdom. I accept raising cows, pigs and poultry as food sources, tho' I wish the majority of people would eat a vegetarian diet, perhaps supplemented by eggs and fish as sources of protein. Danny McIntosh and Richard Cottle have worked with everyone from Tina Turner to David Bowie to Mick Jagger, and just about everyone in between. They were like brothers to me, and that they played with me without any guarantee of financial reward is one of the best compliments ever. Much respect.

Excerpts from three songs ~ Robert Johnson's 'Love In Vain' in a reggae form, 'Helpless' which I wrote with Scott English and 'Mr Pitiful' written by Otis Redding and Steve Cropper. Would YOU book this band if you owned a club ?

Recorded at the Findhorn Foundation in 1986 as part of the album 'The Moment'. I wrote most of this while looking at the incredibly wild and beautiful scenery, sitting outside the airport in Cape Town, waiting for my flight back to London. I finished the song on the flight. :)

I remember Bill and Ben, and the sunflower Weed 😅. Every morning before school, 1969 👍
I was there! I was 5 at the time and I remember the Flower Pot men fondly. Why was it always Ben who was the villain of the peace?
Made me emotional. I'm 4 years old again.
UK politics at its finest
I thought it was an Aussie show but I see the English are just as ridiculous as us.
:-)
They resemble Kier Starmer and Runi Sunak
This evening i have the grandkids on my lap, revisiting this Show for them. reminiscing those golden days, what a grind it was, with those TVs to keep us upbeat, oh what a great rise this life is. ☀️
I remember watching this when I was 4 yrs old. I am 66 now. There was also a show that had live animals playing as people. Something hampster, he had a motorboat. Just found it Tales of the Riverbank.
If you were watching this at age 9 there should have been a few others who were a bit shocked; the slot it was in (early afternoon) was entitled 'Watch with Mother' and was intended for children under school age!
Yes I am from the UK and will never forget the weed smokers into to children.
1260am Baton Rouge plays legendary music like this. I miss waking up to delta blues playing. Im 34

Is that Judy Dench?
I understand now that the Teletubbies were the inheritors of a long and distinguished history of British children's television programs fueled by massive amounts of drugs.
Nobody says anything about them smoking the weed.
Classic Happier Days 😄🏴👍🏻😇
Was quite happy to be off school with ANY illness if it meant being able to see WATCH WITH MOTHER - Bill and Ben, The Woodentops (with the biggest spotty dog you ever did see), Tales of the Riverbank etc.
Why was little weed green, because Bill & Ben flob a lot 😂😂😂
my memory of how they looked was always so hazy its been hard to finally find them, i grew on the colored reruns.
I watched this in Sydney on the ABC when I was 3 years old
I watched this with my late grandmother when I was a kid .Precious times. THANKS!!!!!!!
A Party political Braodcast on behalf of The Reform Party, as shown on GB News.
This was my favourite show when I was a nipper. Lovely to see it again. Thank you.
WTF ! Sorry, fans!
Sounds like you sped this up
I remember watching this in the early '70s when I was about 5. It scared the shit out of me and even now I find it slightly disturbing.
this is a party politacal broadcast by the SNP
Master Lipscomb is One of the Top Blues Men of His Generation

Mick Lee, shocked, shocked I tell ya! Haha, no wonder.
I have to thank the BBC. I learnt how to speak from Bill and Ben.
and my skills in critical thinking. Now I'm talking to myself.
Oh no! No, no, no... I've only just got it, after almost 70-odd years ... a little weed and two pot-heads! Honestly! How could they do this to me?

Johnnie Johnson had a band until he hired a new guitarist named Chuck Berry. JJ and Chuck Leavell best rock ‘n’ roll pianists ever for my ears, although Chris Stainton knocks on the door
Clapton's worked with all three. I think connection to Johnny and Chuck started with the movie.
I watched that when I lived in England as a child. My mom was a from East End London. I lived there till my grandad passed. I was 13. My dad was Air Forse met my mom. Loved that show.
👍💯
