I heard this music about 45 years ago and I bought this album from sanfrancisco many years ago, I try to buy it again but no luck ,finally I found it on u tube.This music touches my soul, full of tranquility.

I look forward to popping this gem in my CD player! I snagged the 1985 CD release at my local library giving away free disposals just a little under an hour ago!

Rubycon is an absolutely great album. Phaedra is a wonderful album too, but you can hear the advance the band made by the time of recording Rubycon.

These vinyl crackles sound superimposed to me for effect? I might be wrong but if they are, it's not necessary for either the people who don't love vinyl as well as those who do. The ones who do like it probably think vinyl is cool but haven't owned any vinyl in their life. Upon saying that, if anyone's records DO sound like this you could lose half the crackles by washing the thing with isopropyl alcohol and distilled water. Especially if you're going to upload a recording of it!
