This channel is for small little tips and training on fire alarm panels. I will be carrying out weekly tests on as many panels as i can. hoping to get people comfortable operating a fire alarm system.

Do you have to put it into some type of Test Mode first? Instruction manual is very vague
You sir are an absolute legend!!! Our alarm started going off about 2 hrs ago due to our lovely upstairs neighbours flooding the detector. The landlord apologised and said no can do till morning. None of the regular methods, like silencing alarm and resetting the system, worked. Read the manual and got the idea that disabling our zone till the engineer comes in the morning should do the trick, but couldn't find the code anywhere. Saved my sanity, our cats nerves and we get to go to work reasonably well rested tomorrow. Thank you!

Sir please say how to clear the "earth fault" alarm in these type of panels
Open the panel door, check the list on the inside of the door I believe it’s 23. Then turn the key and press the select button until it states 23 and then press enter 👍

What are your thoughts on wireless fire systems...? I'm old school, I'm just not convinced on them personally at present...
I believe wireless systems have their place in the industry especially for listed buildings

My Syncro AS surprisingly isn't bad at syncing Firecell sounders!
If put test we can test any devices that time sounder& outputs will work or not
I would say the outputs and sounders will not work it all depends on how the system has been set up

General fault covers a multitude of issues with this panel

Yes this does sound a bit unusual you have a number of choices of tones

Hi there you would have to find your control panel to reset if you want to close the window after you've carried out a test
@@JohnFire-xn1lj I mean the call point will it open or close the windows as if it opens the window would this not increse the fire as O2increases fire or is it not for the fires
This will open the window, allowing the occupants a safer exit from the building. As in dissipating the smoke, it will make it clearer to building.be able to see your way out of the building. Normally, an aov or a fire alarm system will shut down the air conditioning and the ventilator system to stop fresh air from being drawn into the

General fault has a multitude of issues on these panels
In this panel battery 🔋 is weak so we are getting this alarm See the LED glowing below

Hi there sorry to hear you have a problem with a gent fire alarm panel it's not my area of expertise + I would have to be in front of the panel sorry I can't help

What sounders are being used on the system ? Are these the separate sounder bases ? Or are they the EV-PYS optical sensors with sounder ?
They are the detectors with the built in a base sounder Beacons. NITTAN EV-PYS EVOLUTION ADDRESSABLE.
@@JohnFire-xn1ljahh cool . My flat block is currently in the process of replacing its current fire alarm system with a 8 loop mxpro5 panel with Nittan Devices . They will be using these as the sounders for the system . There will be in excess of 200

You have hardwire to transmitters out in the field devices connect to the transmitters which are hardwired back to the fire alarm panel the devices are addressed to the fire alarm panel
