Looma opens a new window in schools ~ an affordable A/V center, using high capacity solid-state storage, LED projectors, high bandwidth cell phone technology, user interactivity, and increasingly efficient solar power systems. Skip and David coordinate volunteers who are reaching for this goal.

A new WireBridge is built in January 2009 by EcoSystems and villagers to allow safe access across Nepal's Netrawati river to the Achane school. More than 3 million passengers are estimated to have crossed on WireBridges since December 1998 and not a single reported accident.

The WireRoad (TarBato in Nepali) is a low-cost, pedal-powered monorail transport system for people and goods, modified by EcoSystems/VillageTech Solutions from an original technology called the 'banana cableway'.
