Went to test (and CRASH!) my brand new AVATA 2 for the first time after activation. Found some very friendly "dirt bike and quad" people, who allowed me to fly with them. I hope you enjoy this even just a fraction as much as I did!!

Saw this old dilapidated, mostly missing pier at Zeezicht, in Laaiplek, Velddrif, on the South African West Coast, and I just HAD TO FLY through it… after all, what is a FPV drone for. Had an audience, both 2-legged uprights on the beach, and 2-legged feathered ones on the pier, and of course everybody is a critic, so I simply couldn’t plonk into the Atlantic ocean!

Breathtakingly beautiful drone views from almost 1,000m above the Blyde River and the bottom of the Canyon. The 3 Rondawels (Afrikaans for a traditional round hut) can be seen in the background. I have never felt so small or humbled, awed by the sheer beauty and tranquility of nature.
