I grew up in south Florida in those early glory days. Moved around the country much since that perfect season as a child, but I have always remained a diehard fan. Much blood, sweat, and tears scarificed since then lol. Maybe the bittersweetness will be answered soon, just win a damn playoff game please!!!

He almost played linebacker, they say, but he ran so fast; so the coach said he's paying fullback instead. He would have made a good linebacker, though.

Good vid. Imagine a team with John Riggins and Csonk each playing in alternate sets of downs or quarters like Craig James and Dickerson did at SMU.

Also, he’s the only qb to lead a team to an undefeated season, in my eyes, he is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever touch a football field. And the fact that they don’t put him up there with the greats is disgusting.

That little weasel would always scramble his way out of disastrous situations. Every time I would go to the Orange Bowl and watch him scramble away from the defense it would drive me crazy. Couldn't stand the Dolphins but Griese could scramble every bit as good as Tarkenton or Staubach, take my word for it.

Great job! Dick Anderson’s play in 1971 Championship is #1, Garo’s kick the week before is #2 and #3 is one you left out which is the beautifully blocked 8 yard touchdown run with four minutes remaining by Jim Kick to win the 1972 Divisional Playoff game vs the Browns to save the undefeated season.

2:35 Roy WInston of my Vikes hit the Zonk so hard, hardest hit up to that point i ever seen, 1972 the Dolphins undefeated season. Vikes had them but the Dolphins came back and beat em in the end with a play action fake to Zonk and then a pass in the end zone to end it. I still cant believe Zonk came back in after that hit, it looked like he got shot with a deer rifle. The Zonk was one tough piece of leather. X -tra props for using a CCR song, great video.

MFR. Dolphins' Mercury Morris; flew like a bird with the wind, ran and jumped like a cat in roof tops, bark and bite like a military dog, stung like a bee in open fields and fought with a huge heart and soul -- facing every Sunday opposing defenses wanting this man dead! And yet, Morris is not in the NFL Hall of Fame; had perfect season and won two super bowl rings! What's up with that? He was definitely right. Meanwhile, O.J. Simpson and others won the Heisman Trophy, braking rushing records and inducted in the Hall of Fame and today The Juice is behind bars and parole! The NFL is corrupt. p.s. did you witnessed how the defense mauled Mercury when they got their hands on him after a huge run, they wanted this man dead! Morris was running for the rest of his life. God only knows if Morris started in the NFL tossing or spiking the ball in anger after every TD!
