Best of the Best !!!❤
Marc Almond 😍😍❤️❤️
I didn't know much about Ultravox's previous life before Midge-san became a skinhead, so I'm glad to see what they were doing back then.
I don't know what the show is about, but the drink time at the end was fun.❤
Saucy to take the Jackson brothers.
A very interesting documentary that highlights Midge-san's charm. Even so, the depth of the bond between Billy, Warren, Chris, and Midge during Ultravox's heyday was amazing.
Canzone meravigliosa, che non si può dimenticare ❤
New to me.. again the levels are f*cked.. what is this, sh*t? Amatuer hour? The bus has a better sound..
Поваренная книга - странное название для группы)) А песня шикарная! Как и фильм, для которого был написан этот саундтрек! 🎶
This is the only instance I've persoally seen where Warren's abscence is discussed. Its intersting to note that Billy and Midge seem to be in full agreement... and who am I to Judge any of the band members, who truly knows what personal reasons they had? I truly wish the musical directions and differences could have been resolved without Warren's departure. I can never get enough of Ultravox music, but there just wasn't enough of it to enjoy :)
Great comment. I was really disappointed to learn of it, and when I saw the first result - 'Same Old Story' on BBC-TV's 'Wogan' - I was quite horrified at how mainstream pop it was, without much substance.
@@RebeccaTurner-ny1xx OMG yes! The U-Vox album broke my musical heart... I truly took refuge in the beauty and majesty of Vienna & Rage in Eden. Lament was just so beautiful, and a album that still sounds timeless to me... It does seem bizzare that apart from Warren, the band wanted to embrace an almost "Glamourous" side to the new sound. When the real roots were in electronica such as Krafttwerk and Ure' s incredible ability to fuse rock guitar, with synths so perfectly. A truly underated guitarist to this day. Even Midge explains he forgot what a uniquely beautiful sound all the chaps made togethe. Warren was like the heartbeat, pionerring with drum machines and a perfect time keeper with a real kit. Quartet of course had stand out tracks, "Mine For Life" had almost no live play until very recently.I think what is pertinent is how Midge was always speaking on behalf of the band, even though Warren is probaly the most articulate. Chris & Billy seemingly preferring to remain almost in the shadows... I suspect they just thought Ure was big enough as a Personality in the "business", to carry on without Warren! Overlooking his huge contributions, including lyrics on the Vienna album. Ultravox with Midge was greater than it's parts, but every member was required. So sad that Chris Allen has been lost to time. I enjoy and respect the Brilliant album, at least we had one minor miracle with that! Thanks for your comment, its good to carry a Torch for the band :)
@@Mindboggle100 Billy gives a fair amount of insight into his perspective in an interview on the podcast 80sography (look for Billy Currie's 80:10) which is on Spotify and other providers. It's plain from it that Ultravox's members didn't express their feelings or opinions, leading - as in so many bands - to tensions that split the band up.
@@RebeccaTurner-ny1xx Thanks will have to take a listen to that, sounds very insightful. Thanks
These songs are 44 years old still sound fantastic what a band I was 16 then thank you ulravox 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Love Liar Liar!
Adored.

Absolutely incredible video! Making Cliché.
Chi la ascolta nel 2024 ?
Still my most played album and we're here in 2024
This footage is awesome for me. This was my first Jarre concert at age of 19. My first time abroad. I just 'breathe' this event. Thank you for sharing. ♥
Into the darkness of decay and desolation.
Great footage 👏
Oh dear....this is quite a sad look at what fame does to someone. Quite embarrassing really.
Jesus Christ, I fucking love it!
Absolutely brilliant. He was such a great performer. Gradually getting back there but of course that was years ago now alas
There was a certain mood at that time, a certain type of energy which can't be recreated. I really miss those days. And I miss Steve, he was my first crush. Always kind, very talented and genuinely a lovely person. And so beautiful. 💜
It’s well documented he had a drug problem - here’s the hard evidence! Do Chris a favour and remove this horrible video! Cringe 🫣
alan vega in his obese era💕😻

i saw Front 242 at Bryggargården in Västerås, Sweden 1984-1986-ish and they were fantastic! I remeber especially the keyboardist who had his mouth full of discettes that he put in an out in the keyboard all the time
Never knew about this or heard this before! Definitely has that classic Telex sound. Thanks for sharing!
