A great cradle+midi controller is still a dream of mine, maybe apple are planning to create something like that with their recent ventures with ipad music ( Releasing the Logic pro app ) . Hi there, thanks for a great demo. I only have one question - in realtime recording can you switch tracks without stopping? Say record baseline on track 1 from external synth 1 then without stopping switch to track 2 and record pads from external synth 2? Many thanks!!

It would be great to see a company like Behringer release a clone of the original, sans the "one tap amnesia" default. I like the tactile feel of the OG version. To bring it up to date, there could be the addition of a SIM/USB, a simple GUI on the desktop for project Song/Pattern loading and archiving (thru USB), as well as a more prominent display, even double the height would be fine, if not still fantastic. (Please put a stamp on this a send it right away to Santa!)

No surprise this video hit my feed ... I was part of a team of four naive IT students who created a Virtual MMT-8 in 2002. I think it is still on Sourceforge as VMMR. The workflow was identical to the original and it was compatible with SysEx dumps for the same device. I still have an original Alesis MMT-8, an HR16-B, and a 1622 surface mount mixer (super thin for its' day). Great stuff. $0.02

I NEVER was as creativ in Songwriting again, as IO was back in the Day with only my MM8, some Midikeyboard and a JV 880. I tried to replikate this with several Methods (using just an Ipad as Sequencer for example), but it did not work.THIS PRODUCT IS MADE IN HEAVEN!!!! Finally. And nice to know that I am defenitly not thje only ADHD Fool loosing focus in my plugin Folder and Sample Libs ;-)

Sehr informativ und lehrreich 😊 Vielen Dank für die vielen Infos 😃 Würde mich echt freuen, wenn du noch mehr Videos über den Microfreak machen würdest oder auch gerne Tipps geben könntest welche andere Drummaschinen, Step Sequenzer kompatibel und gut sind die man sich eventuell zulegen könnte um sein Setup auszubauen. Ich habe mir z.b. den Roland T-8 geholt und schaffe es aber leider nicht die beiden zu koppeln😟) Viele Grüße aus Bayern

Außerdem ist deine Art zu sprechen sehr entspannt und angenehm! Allerdings steht da bisserl im Wiederspruch die "fetzige" Musik 😋 gerade im Wechsel mit deiner gechillten Art pushen mich die 144 ? Beats ziemlich, besonders über Kopfhörer 😉 Ich glaube auch das viele Leute die sich dieses Stereogerät kaufen vielleicht ganz andere ruhigere Musik damit machen wollen... Vielleicht hast Du ja noch mal Zeit und Lust etwas mit Keyboards zu filmen? Wäre dufte! Im übrigen finde ich deine Video-Serie sehr hilfreich, da ich gerade auf der Suche nach einem adäquaten Looper für mich bin, der in meinem Zoom B1on eingebaute ist zwar aufgrund seiner Anzeige und unkomplizierten Bedienung sehr easy zu händeln, aber leider auch sehr eingeschränkt 😊 Erstmal vielen Dank für deine Arbeit, bis wahrscheinlich bald in deinem Kanal und liebe Grüße Tom PS vielleicht schaust Du auch bei mir mal rein, ich teste verschiedene Klangerzeuger und geb mir da auch Recht viel Zeit und Mühe 🤪

So I gather that on the rk-008, “parts” represent the different song sections (verse, bridge, chorus etc) and then the “tracks” within each part, are the various different instruments and synths being played in each part?

Hallo, ich habe mal eine Frage: kann man eine Wav-Wiedergabe auch einfach nur pausieren und dann wieder weiter abspielen? Bisher kann ich nur stoppen und dann wieder ganz von vorn abspielen... Pausieren wäre super hilfreich für kurze Breaks bei Drum-Playbacks. Wäre dankbar für jeden Hinweis, danke!

hab mir den JX08 auch zugelegt und sehe und empfinde das genau wie du es beschrieben hast - guter interessanter Synth für deinen Bereich - man kann nur eben keine komplett eigenen neuen Sounds kreieren, sondern alles basiert auf den presets, wenn ich das richtig gesehen habe 😅

Sehr informatives Video. Vielleicht hilfreich zu erwähnen, dass der RC 5 keinen Ein/Aus-Schalter hat, sondern das nur per Abziehen des Steckers am Mono A Ausgang funktioniert. Eine Sache die mir persönlich jetzt nicht so gefällt, würde ihn deshalb aber nicht verkaufen ;)

Spiele selbst Bass und aufgrund von Pandemie ging ja nun nicht viel zwischenzeitlich mit Bands und jammen. Spiele seitdem mit dem Looper-Gedanken und da kamen Deine beiden Videos bzgl RC 5 gerade recht. Habe jetzt exakt diese Konstellation bei Black Friday gekauft, also Looper und Midi Foot Controller. Habe selbst ne MPC Live, das ist natürlich mit Kanonen auf Spatzen schießen. Mag Deine Videos und habe auch Deine Mucke gecheckt - als TieftonAfinado ist natürlich HOME ein Kracher. Bin eher Punkkrocker seit 40 Jahren, also im Teenager-Alter infiziert worden, kann mich aber auch immer mit anderen EInflüssen anfreunden. Da scheine ich hier richtig zu sein.
