Sr by rattle does it mean you can feel it inside the car like in the steering or something? I wonder if this is still an issue on civic tenth gen. Mine is 2018 civic and in the morning i can also hear short high pitched screeching noise if i start the car. I'm not sure about the rattle though.

The plastic clip will fail and fail, i won't buy another clip ever again. Through the broken clip and through the hole in the glass that the clip go's into, just thread a strong zip tie or three to hold the glass to the broken clip. They might last a year, they might last two ? but a lot cheaper than buying clips.

My car does this when cold , BUT if i turn the key to start position i found out if you can have the key turned for as little time as possible when starting it doesnt make the sound even if engine is cold . The longer you keep the key turned to start as the car is starting then it will always do it . Idk if its all honda fits but it works on my car

It was stuck because it was over tightened causing the o ring to get in the threads.

Yeah this happens. I work at Walmart automotive and if I get these stuck like this I send it to a mechanic shop because in most cases if it’s stuck it will break or crack removing it. The best socket for those Toyota filters is actually made by hyper tough and sold for like 15$ at Walmart.

That is insane, my company would charge like $200 for that haha but it is true that usually when professionals change a faucet, they change the hoses also because it's not smart to warranty a job with older parts. Sometimes the rubber in the hoses forms to a certain shape and will leak soon after so its just preemptive. Also, you need silicone or putty around the strainer otherwise it will leak very soon.

I have 2019MY standard key, have the same sound, it was start after freeze minus 10- C, first time. late reason is when oil is 0w20 and you going in hot weather with 150km/h engine having problem with it. the engines not love 0w20.
