@conniehensley9862 It's been rough! So much heartbreaking devastation all over WNC. Haven't had enough cell signal to do anything. Little town of chimney rock, 20 minutes from me, was wiped out. It's been a nightmare. But I'm OK. Took a while to reach all my fam & they're alright. When I have strong enough signal I'll try a video but it won't work right now. Thank you soooo much for asking. Hope you & your family are all alright. ❤️

What made you move into your van?
@Maryplanting9880 Rent kept increasing & I was already down to bare minimum trying to survive & it reached the point I couldn't afford to have home expenses & a vehicle so I made a choice. I'll have to do a video & go into more detail. It was a tough decision.
Where are your things for sale?

Do you have to roll down a window or vent the van when running that heater?
@@Maryplanting9880 Yes. You need to have air flow. I keep the front windows open just a little to help with that.

@ginafleener3962 Yep. Yogi seemed pretty young & it's the second time I've seen him. Can't help but wonder where mama bear is.
That's when you give it to God. But you have to remember to leave it with him... Because if you take it back , he can't handle it! He has a plan. We just have to trust that there is a lesson to learn in everything that happens. Just remember that his plan for our lives is way better than anything that we could have imagined! Believe, trust, and have Faith that everything is part of a bigger plan!❤

What's the update on your van?
@tekelley36541 It's still got some issues, just not as bad as before. Needs a catalytic converter but there's no money for that. I've put so much into the van this year & into medical, I can't afford to do anything else. Have a short loading as I type this.

@ginafleener3962 It looked good out into the lake, but near the beach area, the swimming area, too many geese have left their 'gifts' & it's pretty gross. Really enjoyed the boat tour.

Basically just that it was so loud but it's good sleeping weather. lol. I've always liked the sound of rain on a metal roof but it was raining hard & so loud.
So sorry! I understand a lot of the things your have been through... Me too. In so many ways. Focus on what you can do today and not what you can't.... focus on the future.., not the past. You can't change the past, but you can choose a different future. Positive thinking brings positive results. Negative thinking only makes for a bad day.... You need to find a decent mechanic who you know will always do a good job fixing your vehicle that’s why I made a video about my mechanic who I highly recommend because I got tired of going to dodgy mechanics who want their pay but don’t want to fix your van properly don’t go back there look around for a new mechanic & choose the one with the best reviews i hope you get your van fixed properly soon there’s nothing worse than having your van break down especially when it’s your home
@user-eo6bk9sg5y I've had the same mechanic for 10+ yrs & never had issues til now. I took it to someone a couple people I know, recommended & I'll be taking it back for a 2nd try. I won't go back to the one that was long term. I'm trying to find someone that can & will take care of my van without taking advantage of this female.
I hope you get the van repaired definetly they need to get it right .they can never just repaired it always seems to lead to more issus and non ending returns .
Cash app is exactly that an app. However they will send a card in the mail. You can send or receive money. I dont do it. I prefer walmart to walmart or western union
Why dont they clean all your fuel injecttors first? Heck check out the youtube videos. You can do it! I am a female, 53...had a similar situation and had to figure it out myself. Only had God and RUclips. I was convinced it was the spark plugs and coils...after changing them, it sid it again in about 2 days. It was clogged fuel injectors. Its a job...alot of time and make sure if you do attempt to have everything you need. Because you want be going anywhere during that time. You got this! It is so sad that as a female, we have to be atcrhe mercy of a man. And don't get me wrong, im not male bashing. However, all forms of customer service have went to crap since covid. Even mechanic shops. I dont know if they intentionally do it, or we just annoy them and thats our pay back 😅 And no its not funny, I get it. Where are you located? Do you have family that could help maybe? You stay safe and cool hon. Reach out, if you need to talk or vent
@tekelley36541 I've watched so many YT vids on different repairs for my van over the year. I feel if I had a place & had the tools I could have fixed it myself. Why they didn't do a complete repair, correctly, thoroughly, is beyond me. I won't be going back. They've lost my business! Thanks for your comment.

It’s your fuel sensor or catalytic converter.
@sweezs4874 catalytic converter was fine. It was the shoddy install job by the shop that I've used for 10+ years. The clip that holds the fuel injector in was broken off when they replaced it on the 10th but instead of fixing it & going it right they zip tied the part to hold it in place but it wasn't properly in place so it couldn't do it's job right. I'll do an up date to explain it soon. Thank you for commenting.

Is there a traveling mechanic in your area that can give you a second opinion? Sometimes you just need a guy to go to the shop with you so the mechanics are forced to be honest. Unfortunately.
@jessicarotich1103 I don't know of a traveling mechanic in my area. Been to the same mechanic for 10+ years & this has ended my business with them. Had someone work on it a couple of days ago. Will be doing an update soon. Thank you.
