SCHD is a good fund for long term. Problem is the div is nothing and pays quarterly. I would rather invest in TSLY and get a massive 70 percent div each month.

That is one of the Major Players in my portfolio. 😁

I started buying SCHD in 2018 at $50 and continued buying on every dip below $50. 5 years later now in 2023, it has been one of my best performing stocks. It now closes in the area just above $70, so every time I can buy more below $70, I continue to add to my position. I have over 30 different stocks and ETFs in my portfolio; and, looking back, I would have done much better if I would have stayed with just SCHD. The only exception to that thought was during the start of the Covid-19 lockdown, I was buying as much as I could of every major quality company that I could afford. All of those have turned a better return on investment than my SCHD, but then again, I didn't buy as much SCHD as I could have bought at that critical moment.

The goal is 1000 shares before the year is over. That’ll help me sleep at night.
