the debut album of multi-award-winning trumpeter, Robin Fassie.
Coming from a diverse and rich cultural background, Robin believes it’s important to
pay homage and respect to his journey into becoming the multi-faceted creative he’s
been moulded into today. In isiXhosa, Intwasa refers to the state of becoming, the
acknowledgement of the multidimensional transition of a being.
This body of work deals with various dynamics and stages of growth, using music as a
