American interviewers (with a few exceptions) have always been SO condescending towards BTS (and kpop in general), but the members consistently rise above, give thoughtful, dignified answers and are so generous in the way they deflect disrespectful questions and try to lighten the mood. It's been like this since the beginning, and it's only just beginning to change 10 years later!

This interview is the one that sets the standards for all the worst interview. The first time she asked about his name, no problem until she cut him off as he was about to explain it. Her bringing it up several times was the worst. Her questions were completely set to discredit kpop from the start and it was clear she didn't take any of this seriously. 6 years later and BTS have taken over the world.
