I will therefore put you in remembrance, though you once knew this, how that the LORD, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterwards destroyed those who believed not. You first learn that God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, and then afterwards, you end up believing that Jesus Christ is God. You come to believe in the only begotten Son of God who died for your sins, and afterward, you believe that God died for your sins. You believe that God raised up Jesus Christ from the dead, and afterwards, you believe that God raised God from the dead. (God cannot die) You come to believe that you are saved, by believing that God sent his only begotten Son so that you can have everlasting life, and afterwards, you believe that God sent God, (God is not a liar) You may believe that Jesus said "My Father is greater than I am" and afterwards, you believe they are the same. You might believe Jesus when he said , "Pray to thy Father in heaven" and afterwards, you pray to Jesus instead because you believe that Jesus is the Father. You come to believe that there is one God which sent his only Son and afterwards, you believe that the Son is God. You hear "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased, hear him" and afterwards, you change the beloved Son of God into God and at the same time, you only hear what man has said and not what Jesus had said. There is only one God, the Father and there is one Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God. Oneness is a deception? Thats blasphemy. Deuteronomy 6:4 The LORD thy God is one LORD. His name is JEHOVAH and he has a Son whom he gave, who died for the sins of the world whom he raised from the dead. Jesus Christ is the Christ of God, not God. Jesus Christ is not the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is an evil thing and bitter to forsake the LORD thy God, by believing that the Son is God. Heed the warning and read John 20:17. Jesus Christ tells you clearly who your God is and you dont listen to him. If you have not the Son then you have not the Father and that spirit of a false Jesus inside of you declares himself as God. Repent.

I had the privilege of working with Greta during the last few years of her life. I remember her love for music. Music was the best therapy for Greta. I will never forget her beautiful smile. She loved Arthur, her husband. In her bedroom she had this beautiful painting she made of her and her husband. When she was having a rough time talking about that painting , brought such calmness to her. My deepest condolences to Faith and the rest of Greta's family and friends. Remain blessed!❤

Beautiful service. She did my colors too. I still take her advice about what colors I should wear.

Thank you arranging this for us to share in the celebration of your Mom's life. I think of all the people I know Greta was the most hospitable, from the first time in Calgary when she kept our boys, just babies then and sent us on a much needed getaway until the frequent stays we had with them in Coquitlam and the many meals, banquets etc that she hosted over the years we were always made to welcome and loved. We rejoice with you in the wonderful resurrection power of our Lord Jesus.

Greta, I am sorry to see you leave this world but I am happy that you are in the kingdom of heaven. I look forward to seeing you again one day, as well as all who have passed on before you. You led an amazing life full of joy and family, you left an impression on all of us to be the best we can be with the short lives we have. You raised a beautiful family full of amazing people who also have gone on to bless their communities. In this dark world the good people are few and far between, but you kept the light alive in your heart and it shone like a star in the night sky. The Sheppards and the Rothenbushs knew each other within the church for many decades and grew so close that you would think we were kin and in a way we were. Greta always treated me like i was her grandchild which was reciprocal. Faith Bateman often would look after me as a child (remember the cheese toast Faith?) when my mother was working and i would see Greta many times as I grew up. If it wasn't for the kindness and guidance of their family and mine, I probably wouldn't be where I am today. My only regret is not being able to be at this service in person to wish your family well in such a sad time, to all who witnessed her life keep your chin up because after the darkness of the night comes a beautiful sunrise.
