The craziest part of the first episode was scar arriving out of nowere. I really thought he planned to steal that enchanter, then I watched his pov and wow he actually really just happened to dog there by chance. Also, his base is up that mountain. By pure chance many players saw the same stalagmites and decided to make a base there multiple times in different moments.

And the best part of the game is mods! do you think that something is too hard? There's a mod for that do you want to buff the cat cap? There is a mod that (i use it) Do you feel like the joy of exploring is gone? There's a mod that combines all of the don't starve games into one (that one requires a strong pc tho)

I think the old versions of DST (2014-2018) are better than the current one but yeah DST is the most unique survival game out there.

Don't starve together isn't a perfect game but it does what it sets out to perfectly (sound design, art style, the uncompromising survival gameplay). Been playing it since release and i still find myself delighted.

this game's community is a gambing hall. one day you might find some servers that actually have good ping, but all of them kick or ban you even before you're able to load into the server. one time out of thousand you'll find a good lobby that lasts a while, has fun people to play and to talk with. ok, let's ignore public servers, "stop hating on the game for the online, play solo or with friends dumbass", then let me introduce you to our modern world of klei updates. I hope you like getting skill trees for characters that don't desperately need them, or eating yet more end game content that has a step ladder required to reach it still not reworked into the better side. There are so much crude mechanics in dst that are just left to exist, where is my cave update to make them actually for god's sake interesting and worthwhile to explore besides "find ruins and leave". where are my boss reworks (dragon fly, toadstool, prehistoric and certainly ancient skinweaver, beequeen). one of the genuinely good changes I remember in the past months, are scaled furnace being able to destroy items, crab king rework, pearl quest line tweaks and finally, at last, at long long last they added a tentapillar setpiece. almost all these changes are good, because they polish and incentivise to work for the end game content, instead of waiting for it by being locked by season-specific-items (hello solo skinweaver) Klei are also constantly locked in this perpetual rebalance and character reworks to fix their dog water changes they make, first just reworks, now character skill trees as if we are in an mmo rpg and then after they look at some of the more boring, usually first skill trees (Wolfgang, wigfrid, wilson) they'll go "damn these characters are so much worse than what we did for W, W, W, and M, let's start a rework cycle again!" istg if we wont get walter or warly skill trees next ones, I am gonna drop my sanity into the negatives (truly losing my mind)

The game is hard and takes time to learn, it has many characters to play which are all different and get reworked/updated, the game itself constantly gets updated. Combining all this you can play it hundreds of hours and still havent done a lot of things. I have almost 600 hours and i havent even beaten all bosses lol (i will do one day i hope). Be ready to have your life consumed by dst and get frustrated a lot :D

I feel while its probably the best in survival alone, I feel other survival games can do things better like the world-building and adventure of grounded or the sandbox jumble of creativity that is minecraft.

There's so many monsters out there that wants to eat you. You, however, can kill and eat them too. Fantastic game.

Imagine getting little bored of dst trying to find some other survival to spice it up but they just don't work out for you and now you see this title 😔
