I love stitching most things but really love full coverage....heaven and earth designs, crafting creations, tolton crafts, pinkalily designs, etc. can't get enough....just need to live forever and retire early if I ever win the lottery 😁Xx

Favorite - anything that sparkles or has humor. So I end up anywhere from chatelaines to Etsy patterns that have squirrel with a pearl earring. 🙂

Glad I came across your floss tube. I really like the charts and patterns that you are working on or plan to do. We both have the same interests, I love Disney and the fancy ladies, too. I love your pixie collection, I have some of them, but not all, so I will have to get shopping. Can't wait to see your progress.

Beautiful stitching! You had mentioned in previous videos that Columbus was 2 hours south of you as I am. I’m west of Cleveland and there are two great cross stitch shops near me….Crafty Ewe in Cleveland and Just Stitching in Strongsville. Worth a trip if those are closer to you. Hope we see more of your stitching…good luck in your competition also.

great mermaid. My fave project is my blanket (apothocary/curiosity cabinet syle) as its heaps of patterns that are under 100 stiches on one side max. So quick stitches and I can use it as a blanket/throw afterwards. The least liked pattern is my Dragon... it takes so long for full coverage and its all 3 colours so getting really boring. but i a plugging away as when I am finished it - it will be a great picture. its on 11 count aida.... my last project on that count as I really don't like that count at all - i prefer 14, 16 and 18 count. The blanket is not ment for x-stitch linen. prob 11 count again because of the open weave but its better than aida.

Hello. love seeing your collection. I like stitching practical items... ie: book marks, pin cushions, pillows (ones big enough to lean on), I am currently working on a blanket of bottle patterns i've collected from various etsy designers - a stitched version of a DMC floss reference book with alice and wonderland themes on it. I have some framed/ bannered and wall hanging total finishes but I have only so much wall space. i cannot frame them all.

Welcome to FlossTube. Great job on your first video. I too like the "fancy ladies," and just last year took the plunge on a Mirabilia ("Gypsy Queen") and enjoying it very much. I have "Roses of Provence" in the wings; "Red" and "Winter Queen" waiting and will stitch them once I've made serious headway into my current 20 WIPs (variety of themes, most full coverage) and 70+ other charts in my inventory. Along with "GQ," I am also currently a quarter of the way done on Leslie Teare's "Dreamy African Beauty." It's a lovely fancy lady in her own right as are Ms. Teare's other figures which deserve more exposure than she gets here on FlossTube. I look forward to your future content on this channel. Your mermaid is perfect! You should be so proud! About your backstitch. It seems to me that you could do a loop start to anchor your backstitch. Just be sure to do the loop start directly between two backstitch. The idea just popped into my head. I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Connie Joy Fish Garvie. I'm 65 and I live in Everett, Washington. It's about 30 miles north of Seattle. I am disabled and need to use a power Wheelchair most of the time. I have 4 adult children, though my oldest child died 2 years ago, tomorrow. I have been cross stitching since I was about 13, though I had to atop for quite sometime due to a horrible divorce, then being a single person. Then I had to adjust to being disabled. One year ago, my daughter told me about the secret, subversive cross stitch she was doing. Since then, I have been cross stitching about 6 hours a day on most days. I love finding new RUclipsrs, especially cross stitchers! Aargh! My autocorrect just tried to make me say I had been exorcizing cross stitchers! Bwahahaha! I look forward to your next vid! Its so funny u mentioned being a completionist...annie from @xoneedleinthehayxo and i were chatting about that the other day😂 i am a sucker for a series and if i cant have em all i cant get em at all cuz it would drive me nuts to not have a complete set of something n i will go to the ends of the earth trying to find certain things to complete certain series/collections...a blessing and a curse at times 😂😂 i have to be picky cuz it can be pricey as u know lolol...but whether its patterns, or toys, i love to collect full sets of things! I enjoyed your video and seeing your WIPs and haul. Your Enchanted Mermaid is gorgeous. I stitched her many years ago and a few years ago I gave it to a friend. I have a very small start on her so that I can again have her hanging in my home. Someday I will get back to her. My favorite designs are Mirabilia and Nora Corbett, Bella Filipina and Joan Elliott.
