We attempt to film Todd's Run but are only able to film the first part. Waterville road has the best turns on the whole ride. I attempt to lean the bobber as much as it can and scrape some pegs. I am continuing my effort to release cinematic rides here in the Wisconsin area. Thanks for watching! Nice I never seen another ISB with air suspension, they look very nice. In my case I bought a dyna dirtyair shocks is pretty much the same also include a 3'' airtank so I can quickly rise the suspension, I put it inside the ends cuoio swingarm bag.
That's a good idea. I went with the kit to save some of time fitting it.
My favorite part about this video is when he slowly rolls past the cars right up to the light and gets to the light JUST as it turns green, rolling on the throttle at the perfect time - now ahead of all the cars without even doing anything crazy. This is excellent riding.
cool apes
sounds so good
Thanks!
dream bike right here
Oh where did the best sounding scout went?
Awesome quality footage, and good sound… not always easy to get the sound this good 👍
Thanks!
Cop…. Knock twice on the helmet
Those pipes are 🔥. Thanks for the vid!
Sounds amazing. I’m a firm believer that motorcycles need to be heard. I can’t come to terms with electric vehicles because they are dangerous to riders, pedestrians and motorists. Nice video. I enjoy night rides too because there’s generally less traffic - which means fewer idiots 😂
Nahh cant be, someone riding the bike how it was intended to be ridin
Watching and listening this video while working in night shift is so peaceful! Thanks for this <3
Glad I could help!
What exhaust do you have on it? Nice sound
Custom exhaust done by @BarlowBuilt on instagram.
I love this video and your mods. I see you haven't dressed up the silver engine case screws. I have a set available for $50 + shipping. They fit great and look amazing.
Thanks! I don't mind the silver personally. Thanks though!
Watching the video and thought that area looked familiar! Right around my neck of the woods. I just picked up a 24 scout rogue last week, video is curing the itch to ride until the weather gets better. Awesome video!
I love the rogue look, and yeah I can’t wait to get out there either. Just need the weather to cooperate.
Nice video I can’t wait to start driving at night new rider here
Riding at night is my favorite, less traffic, better views, cooler weather. But you have to be more vigilant as people and animals will not see you as easily.
I have never in my life touched a motorcycle I saved up to buy an Iron 883 cus I have always wanted a Harley as I started learning and understanding a bit about motorcycle and as I browsed for my dream bike on Facebook market the Indian Scout popped up and I just couldn’t help but to keep clicking on every Indian scout I saw I now own an Indian Scout bobber that I bought three weeks ago. And I am learning in it. I am so in love with my Indian Scout is my dream back and I can’t wait to keep creating memories with it.
Thats awesome to hear! I also learned to ride on the scout and it's a great beginner bike, just be disciplined with the throttle and you'll be fine. You will make memories every ride you go on. Enjoy it!
Nice Night Ride and Awesome Bike 👏🏽
Thank you 👍
man, you are the only one with those 4000, 5000,6000 rpms on the road!! i ve searched the whole youtube and i cant find anyone like you:) im about to buy me one of those bikes in about a month or so... but until then GIVE ME MORE OF THOSE VIDEOS FFS:)
Thanks! I ride it like I stole it. I am up in Wisconsin and it's just getting back up into the 40-50 degree range. I'll be bringing it out soon, stay tuned!
Im almost done will college and have about 10,000 dollars saved up. When im out of school and with a higher paying job this is gonna be one of the first things I build towards.
They are fun bikes and it was my first bike. your going to love it!
So you made the bobber into the rogue…
*An honest review.* I didn't know there are third party accessories for this bike.
Yeah, not many. But if you search and use the groups on Facebook then you can generally find parts you need/want. No where near as extensive as the Harley’s but it’s growing.
With the quick shifter did you have to modify the shifting rod? Do you know if it would work with mid controls?
You get a replacement shift rod from them. Paul reached out and asked for measurements of the stock one so he would include the same side rod. I would reach out to Annitori before purchase but I assume they would have the correct length for you.
@@motomoj have you had any problems with the shifter? Was it a hard install? How does it compare to the dynojet one
I havent used the dynojet so i can't compare. But install was easy and customer support was top notch.
Harley discontinued the affordable sportster and withdrew from the entry level market now they want to sell only high-end and gouge you so this is the new Harley sportster. Harley customers are leaving Harley and going to Indian in mass
This was with the sportster Evo discontinuation? Like the last gen sportster? Seems like they want to raise prices and keep the Harley premium. We will see in the long run how that works out.
Wym? I just bought a Harley nightster for the same price as a scout and I love the thing
Awesome video man! How many miles do you have on your bike now?
I have about 17k miles on the bike now. Been flawless so far.
After this much time you prob found a solution but do you still need a garage door opener for your bike?
I did find a solution to this using a universal remote.
Gotcha. I asked because I’ve been selling little kits on Facebook that use a universal and mounts a button in the thermostat cover. It looks nice
I am considering these shocks. They only have 1.88 inches of travel, how does that work with so little movement??
The bags provide a much better cushion than stock. I have not owned other shocks so I am unsure of how the compare to other alternatives. I have a bad lower back due to an injury, and for me it completely negates that back pain when riding. I also like the adjustability when riding solo vs with a passenger.
So does the kit also come with tire inflation capability?
It does not.
If you get an inch and a half to two inches of travel and when you sit on it you loose an inch what does that leave one with?
Not sure what you are asking, when measuring at the highest position compared to stock without sitting on it, i gained 2 inches of height.
Hey. Have you ended up getting a garage door opener on your bike? If yes, which one?
I purchased a generic one from amazon that can be programmed to my bike, and a switch and drilled and mounted it to my key housing. Would you be interested in a video on this?
Oh man yes. I have my little remote in my pocket and trying to click on the correct button while arriving slowly has been an issue and honestly dangerous.
Ty, these kind of content makes me feel more comfortable when I'm sad. Bless you
Does the windshiled make a big difference on highway? I find myself fighting the wind around 65mph and higher
It does enough, the wind his my chin or just under but I am no longer fighting to hold on on the highway. There are other options but I did like how clean the Indian one looks. And I like the fact I can swap it out for the mid fairing if I wanted to.
Nvm found it lol
Just saw this, but it should be in the description haha. Custom from Luke Barlow.
What exhaust?
Custom Exhaust made by Luke Barkow @BarlowBuilt on insta
How much did the exhaust cost to have built?
For me a few years ago, around $750 but prices could have gone up. For an exhaust I would contact Luke Barlow for a quote. I know if you want a muffler in it its somewhere north of $1,000, I believe closer to $1,200? but I could be mistaken.
Hey man, great video. I'm thinking about this as my first bike, how much difference do the handlebars you added make? They look like they'd be so much more comfortable than the stock ones, I'm around the same height as you as well.
Hey, the bars made a very noticeable difference for me. I was hunched over quite a bit, but it depends on if you have a longer torso or not. At the Indian dealer they should have a few you can sit on with standard bars and mini apes, they are similar to the mini apes.
my dream bike, hope someday somewhere i will get this bike 😇
It was my first bike and my dream bike. I hope you will one day!
Number plates like that is legal?
It is here in Wisconsin
The mic setup you got made this sound amazing on my headphones!
Thanks for the feedback!
What size shift rod did you go with
I cant remember but Paul from Annitori reached out directly and had me confirm the measurement of the stock shift rod.
Where is that?
This is right outside of Milwauikee in the town of Waukesha
yes pure engine sound but not truly a GOOD engine sound. My cammed honda monkey sounds meaner.
I'd smoke this bike too
if i owned one of these bikes, id only ride it at night too .........................................
Thanks for more views and helping the channel. Could subscribe too
@@motomoj I might, pointin out how lame these polaris bikes and new rev max sportser bikes are is my new kink. don't judge me.
I contemplated getting one but I just think they look terrible from the left side. But those engines are nice
@@motomoj they make great power but they sound lousy, sounds like a v twin lawn mower engine, just not as mean or pleasin to the ears.
@@billwilliamson9842mate you sound like someone who'd drive an electric car
"polaris scout bobber", indian died in 1953.......................
True, doesn’t matter who makes it. It’s a great bike. A brand is just a name, in the end it doesn’t mean anything.
@@motomoj keep tellin yourself that peewee lol you paid for indian but got polaris, id be pissed. you could have gotten any ole metric and got the same bike, sad. smh
@@billwilliamson9842 I coluld have, your right but i didnt. Im happy my decisions affect your life. Good to know!
@@motomoj oh your piss poor decisions don't affect my life at all, but you keep graspin for some sort of hint at delusions of grandeur. Personally i just chalk you up to one of the bazillion noobs on here who fancy themselves an expert because they have some viewers on a youtube channel. you keep rockin that polaris, the rest of us enjoy the laugh.
I’ll rock it. I might throw some Polaris badging on it too. I never claimed to be anything actually. Thanks for helping out the channel with some views!✌🏽
Really nice looking and sounding bike! I think about visiting an Indian store but they are less in Germany. How tall are you? I am 182cm and I am not sure if this work with the scout bobber
Thanks for the feedback! I am about 178cm and i fit more than comfortably on it. I have had friends ride this that are about 185cm and 187cm and they both liked the sitting position on this bike. I have replaced the handlebars though.
@@motomojgood to know, thank you!
my dream bike, nice video man :)
Thanks! It was my dream bike too!
Anyone know which exhaust he’s got?
Its a one off custom exhaust by @BarlowBuilt on Instagram.
Having a hard time choosing between a scout bobber/rogue or a low rider s (first bike was an iron 883) but this pov is making me lean more towards the scout 🙌
The rogue has some nice oem parts like the seat is the one I use, and its way more comfortable than the stock bobber seat. The fairing is nice for wind protection, and the wheel setup is slightly different. that will be personal preference, but I like the rogue looks!
Nice video and beautiful bike.
Thank you!
Not a chance you have a vid to the install for the annitori quick shift? And any advice on when installing it?
Its super straight forward, just dialing it in as to what you want
