Schellengers or boathouse are 2 really good seafood restaurants in wildwood, there is an outdoor tiki bar/club called “the point” that is good for going out at night, for the kids there is a place called “morey piers” that has rides and games, the whole boardwalk is good for adults and kids and has something for everyone, I was just in wildwood, too bad u weren’t there then, would have been nice to see your pretty face ;)

Depending on your transportation, if you're going to Atlantic City, Dock's Oyster House is outstanding. A touch further North is Oyster Creek Restaurant And Boat Bar. That would be more kid friendly and its in Leeds Point where the New Jersey Devil lore begins. Great place. Docks is much more formal. I dont have anything in Wildwood, sorry. Have fun

I'm going there this fall At my tournament

It cost too much to vacation there, Three families need to pool there money together to rent a place for one week, If you don't pick up groceries at shop rite on the way over, Your looking at spending 200 hundred dollars a day for food, 🙄 , alcohol drinks are expensive there a imported beer is $15 Long Island iced teas 25, This place is becoming seaside without snooki, Slew side Too crowded too expensive stay away.

Too expensive now, A lot of money to go to the beach ⛱️ Heavy traffic 🚦 crowds, Twenty five dollars for a cheese burger 🍔 and ten dollars for a beer, No thanks.🙄

I play in tournaments here at least twice a year. By far my favorite place to play. Great video.

Used to go there every year and stay in surf city it was so calm and beautiful for a beach town. Haven’t been there in years I wonder if it’s more like seaside now… hope not. Felt like a piece of Americana and classy still.

That cabin was way more spacious than I thought it would be! Did you rent it for a week or weekend? Can I ask how much it cost? Something like that at Disney World would probably be about $4000 per night! I’ve never heard of Knoebels before yesterday, but what a nice, homey and reasonably priced place it seems to be!

I loved this place when I was a kid! We would have our family reunions there and spend the whole day. Are there picnic grounds still there? That is where we would settle for picnics. This was back in the 1950s-early 1970s. The family from Sunbury, to "Norry" to Alfred,NY, to Harrisburg would meet at Knoebels Grove. I am tearing up as I type this.

What is a good decent hotel for a family of 5??

Great video! We are about 2 hrs away, and we would come every year when our kids were growing up. But we never stayed at the cabins. We camped one weekend at the park and once at Lake Glory. What a great family park! Now we have grandchildren, and are looking at coming again this summer..... or during their Halloween festival! Thanks for the walk through of your cabin. Do you know how many cabins are there? We hope to get one for a night soon!

Grew up on LBI. The family sold the home in 2014-- I couldn't afford a hotel room in my childhood beach town, let alone a house.

My family has owned homes on that island since the 1930s. Have a street named for my family (Mom's side) Bought mine in Beach Haven in 2005. I remember that little building that was Ron Jon's Hatch Cover Furniture shop. Sold surfboards and t-shirts in the back. I still have some of the original pocket tees before the modern Ron Jon logo. LBI, greatest place in the world.

I love Shady Maple but they don't like me....lol....I eat and eat and eat when I go...great food and all you can eat....Try Millers in Lancaster PA they are a great buffet too..They contacted me and paid me to make a video review for them. A really nice restaurant with excellent food.

I love LBI I have a waterfront summer house on Mystic Island. My beach house is a 10 minute drive to LBI. Mystic Island has beautiful waterfront homes like LBI

We moved from Staten Island and lived on 6th street Surf city LBI for a while back in the late 70s. It has changed so much. Went to junior H.S. in Manahawkin when we lived there on LBI. I remember Ron Jon surf shop was a little building back than. In the winter it was very isolated feeling.....not many people lived there all year.
