    It’s crazy watching this video holding a Susquehanna broad point spearhead and looking at my other susquhannock arrowheads and stone axes

    Most importantly, they left behind DNA which proves they weren't native at all.

    " .....known in ancient times as the Indian Highway" Huh. No Indians, no highways in ancient times.

    Really well done! What is the name of the heritage museum in Lancaster Co? I live a few miles from Garrett Island.

    The attack of the Paxton Boys on the County Work House and authorities looking away, sounds all too familiar of current events. Thank you, great video! 🤗

      It was the Iroquois who annihilated the Susquahannock. Why?

    Is it true that the Susquehannock were 7 - 8 feet tall and had light skin and red hair? And why were they wiped out and not other native groups? I have heard that they were part of the mound builders in America.

      They were not 7-8 feet tall, and recent excavations have found that the average height for Susquehannock men was 5’7 and 5’4 for women, which seems short today, but they were still probably taller than white people of the time because they were better fed. The height theory comes from John smith saying they had “giant like” physiques, but he also states that they had very large muscles and calf muscles, so he is probably talking about that. I doubt they had red hair.

      @@FinnmacDThe excavation was only of 13 actual intact skeletons. When the natives met J. Smith they wouldn’t send the shortest / weakest tribesmen they would bring the alpha males. Some of them may have been 6ft. & taller…

      People have lived in this area as far back as 12,000 years. "First Pennsylvanians," by Kurt Carr and Roger Moeller is a good start if you want to learn of the evidence.

    Is it ok to refer to people of earlier times as "primitive"?

    • @jesuslovesyouforalleternit8064
      @jesuslovesyouforalleternit8064 2 года назад

      Primitive makes it sound like they didn’t know much so I say it’s offensive.

      This makes Indians sound like they didn’t figure out how to live until 1850. This is garbages day offensive.

      It's definitely offensive that you Americans still think that they are Indians.
