You can quicksave in permadeath mode but the game hides them from you. So, you cant manually load them. You can however just go to titlescreen and continue from the last time you quicksaved if you are in a bind. It does make the challenge whole lot less daunting.

Only just getting to the podcast now, the tool tips and UI when Yasuke is training; indicates a charged heavy attack that leads into two light attacks in quick succession. I don't think the combat will be based on combos. It looks like the same system as Valhalla but beefed up with a armour and stance/posture system. Also, I predict Shadows will be the only game in the series that has a stealth system based on light and shadow, since there are very few archtyphal characters that use shadows to sneak around. The Ninja being one of them. It just wouldn't make sense for a character like Ezio or Evior, for example, to use shadows.

I really enjoyed this game, having a blast and don't believe those negative youtubers, try the game yourself.

I think when it comes to Naoes face, the faces in the game are very detailed compared to the previous games. I think the lack of freckles and wrinkles etc is because Naoe is a 17-19 year old girl so the blemishes on her skin are going to be very minimal as she isn't fully matured or seasoned yet but still a teenager. Yasuke is older so it makes sense to see more details and blemishes in his face.

6:10 In AC 1, Social Stealth is necessary. In every other game, other than Origins and Odyssey, it’s just optional.

I feel like she needs more attention than yasuke because they’re mad because well a lot of crazy shit and one of them is one of the protect. This is not native and I think they have them super shot because you guys can see if not, the only protagonist we have naoe is native so yeah for me. I’m definitely gonna play this game. I believe they did really good with the art combat stealth everything and I know they’re gonna actually forget about the heat one day. Because I like to play any game that’s related to Japan. 🎌⛩️🐉🎋🏯💴👹👺🍜🍣🥢

The delineation between an adult book and a young adult book mostly comes down to focus characters and to an extent writing style; young adult books aren't necessarily less mature in subject matter, but they typically star characters in their teens or early 20s (i.e. the target demographic) and are written with a high-school level vocabulary and reasonably clear prose. I don't think any of the AC novels are more complex in prose than Last Descendants, but since LD stars teenaged characters, it gets included in the young adult category, unlike the others.

I've read all three of them and have very much enjoyed them. As you said, the "young adult" tag is a little bit of a weird one, but as i'm considering myself more of an "old child" i didn't paid it too much attention. For me, they rank around the same level - or even slightly higher - as the Fragments series. On a side note, you should read the Locus comics, they really complement the novels.

The Last Descendants are some of the best AC books out there. The sequence that explored the archetypes and our shared consciousness was particularly fascinating for me as a scholar of psychology. I don't think we've had such a thorough deconstruction of the Animus and it's effects on the mind anywhere else in the franchise.
