Beautiful traditions and so wonderful to have so many family members.
This is ridiculous! Stop inferring that the Chinese government is prohibiting or trying to prohibit Uyghur traditional weddings. The diverse 56 ethnic minorities within the country are recognized and encourages each group are to continue to speak and teach their children their cultural language, traditions, and customs!!
Uyghur terrorists are dangerous. They also operateed in Syria.
Are you now parroting Yan - Little Chinese Everywhere - our true star of travelogs? Please don't.
No, I am not copying anybody. Yan is a superstar. I don’t think anybody can parrot her. I just want to record my travels and let the world know a little bit more about China.
Please keep in mind I made this video in Mid August 2024, Yan went to Inner Mongolian in September. So who parrots who? I am also a fan of Yan writing a review on one of her video by saying she has made great videos to bridge the gaps between China and the world!

I found out yesterday that Inner Mongolia province has more Han than ethnic Mongolians. It is interesting that inner Mongolians didn't choose to be part of Outer Mongolia.
It was a complicated affair. Mongolia’s independence was not even their own decision.
...the existence of Outer Mongolia was an imposition made by Imperial Russia by the Treaty of Peking...it did not exist before 1910...!!!!

@@Leelylbc ...I think you should read more history about the Mongol Empire and its great leader, Genghis Khan, who had perhaps the largest empire in terms of territories in history, stretching from Europe, through India, culminating in the Far East (China)....and also read about his grandson, Kublai Khan, founder of the Yuan dynasty in China......
@@betojyeSorry, I might have mistakenly expressed my opinion by saying territory divisions of many small countries were dominated by the super powers in the past. I know very well that Genghis Khan, the founder of the Mongols once established one of the largest empire on the planet. I also know his grandson Kublai Khan is the founder of the Yuan dynasty in Chinese history. I guess if China was stronger at that time, perhaps the history of Outer Mongolian would have been rewritten.

Hani terraces is a place where many Chinese photography enthusiasts like to take blockbuster photos.
The village in the fog is so pretty 😊
Due to the altitude and humidity, the little town is often shrouded in clouds and fog.

@@yunzilong2791 沙甸镇居民是清一色的回民，而且沙甸人非常富裕，这也是云南最大的清真寺。
第一个建筑被半岛电视台(Al Jazeera)批评过，说：这个建筑曾经是圆顶，和四尖角，但因为最近中国政府的原因，把顶全拆了改中式的。
这个教堂明亮宽敞，非常漂亮！
沙甸大清真寺从内到外都很漂亮。这也是很少没有院子围起来的清真寺，每个人都可以拖鞋走上去站在大殿外参观。

Mile is a county-level city well known for its mild weather throughout the year which attracts retirees from other parts of China to spend summer and winter here. I was amazed by the unique culture and lifestyle of Yi ethnic group of people who live in a village that is nestled in the mountains.

Rice noodles from Hunan is my favourite. Every time when I am back to my home town I have to eat rice noodles for breakfast. I don’t know how big the difference of rice noodles from Mengzi?
@@susanliu2262 I must say Yunnan has more options to offer in terms of the varieties of rice noodles and flavors, cuz rice noodles is a popular breakfast for the whole province.

I was on an island called Pangkor in Malaysia during April of this year when local Chinese fisherman celebrated Mazhu.
@@HengSoonAng Yes, Mazu folk custom is not only practiced Chinese of the coastal regions in China, but also by all the overseas Chinese who originated from these areas.
