Really enjoyed that, went to Millmoor a couple of times as an away fan and was sorry to see Rotherham leave it. The Tivoli was brilliant as well. Good times.

Is Millmoor still used? I would have assumed it would be dilapidated and unusable at this point considering when it closed, but the pitch looks great and still used.

Great memories of going to millmoor daz and getting in the ground and straight to the food kiosk behind the tivoli for a pukka pie and a hot pork pie and bovril with plenty of pepper. Can you remember when we went to walsall in the fa cup and i gave you our micks ticket because he couldn't make the game. Great video pal and up the miller's.

Drop down Into Hope call in at the Old Hall a few pints of Old Peculiar and some of their excellent Steak and ale pie then walk back to Castleton over the otherside of the River.

I know millers hate Wednesday with a passion, but Cheers for drawing with Birmingham it sent them down . Not seen this guy play but heard he is a great keeper. Without sounding disrespectful, and with all due respect, I would love Wednesday to get him in. I’d expect theirs lots of interest in him though. Good luck next season hope you can bounce back.

Kelham Island Museum is well worth a visit. We used to take our oldest grandson there his first port of call was the Crossley gas engine and then straight round to the River Don engine. Then the kids play room which is just through the door as you pass round the back of the engine. I really must go again as we haven't been since covid. And of course there's all the cracking drinking establishments within a couple of hundred yards. Thanks for this one Troopy.

I worked at Caphouse on the pit top on their loading shovel (Terex 72.41) quite a few times over the years. The people up there were spot on. I'd been so many times that I sussed out how to use the old telephone exchange. We used to go over and talk to the guys who worked the old winding machine they had marks on the winding rope for the different levels.
