I want to leave this comment here as a warning. I tried this and had a terrible experience and I regret it with my whole heart. I sh_t and puked my guts out and thought I was gonna die. It was a true wakeup call to how much of a dark path I’ve started going down and what a bad mental state I’ve ended up in to want to escape reality like this. i had a pal who TWISTED my arm BIG TIME . he never stopped begging me to "robotrip" with him . He claimed it was " just like acid . i had no idea what i was in for . in the past i had no issues with mushrooms or lsd . i took a small bottle of robotussin along with him , we each had one . i suffered a depersonalization , derealization event . it lasted a month . i was unwell after that for a long time . the actual trip was so unbelievably bad . i was sobbing crying , and then laughing like a mad man , this would be 30 seconds of laughing then i would start crying , this went on and on . i was in such bad shape i needed to go to the ER . it was one of the worst experiences of my life. the only thing i could compare it to was pcp over dose . which i experienced three or four times in my life . what i felt was that i had completely gone mad , that i was never coming down and i was stuck in this hell for eternity , satan was there mocking me , i was praying to god so hard to bring me out of it . this guy who twisted my arm , he is no longer with us , he expired from using heroin . so yeah , this guy was just bad news / an idiot . robotripping has nothing to do with lsd or shrooms or tripping . robotrips is a dissociative , it is like pcp . i drank a small bottle of robitussin , this was in the mid late 90s . so i have no idea what was in it besides the dxm . i do know i or i guess from experience i would say i am SUPER sensative to pcp / dissociatives . even now if i use this new canibas that is 29 percent thc , i get a nasty speedy feeling of borderline panic attack , or flat out freaking out if i smoke more than a half a tiny hit . if i take edible , i use 2.5mg , and thats almost too much . maybe it is the other medication i take that changes the way the weed feels to me ? i am on another pain med for chronic back pain . i just dont enjoy weed like i did when i was young . i chose to stop using alcohol a while back . i stopped beer in 2016 and now i am completely free of alchohol . it would be nice to find something like mdma or a downer i could take as more often than not i am feeling wired out and nasty . in the past thc was my panacia , then beer worked really great . i developed gout . i was drinking a lot of beer when i took the dxm . a quarter gram of pans cyans is too much for me ! i am so old . its better to take less tho . i mean yeah obviously i have gotten older and this stuff hits me so hard . the music apreciation is the main thing i miss from weed . i play music and its a huge part of my life . i would like to find something maybe natural or low dose that is similar to alcohol , or something to help me relax if i am feeling wired out , which that may be a side effect of my pain meds . unfortunately i have to take those . i am just not down with getting addicted to anything iu am going to regret so its not like i am going to start with benzos or something silly . like my doc tried scribing tramadol to sleep . no thanks . i just got off seroquel because it made my ear ring . dmt and shrooms will make my ear ring like a bell now . imaging that , its like i cant take drugs ....

do you want to go straight to hell and wish more than anything you could come down ? do you want to go from sobbing tears , more terrified than you have ever been to laughing , rotating these emotions every 45 seconds for an hour ? do you want to feel like you will never come down off this feeling - for three weeks ? do you want to end up in the ER after fighting the police and the firefighters and emts ? lets NEVER compare dissociatives to weed or say they are chill . this drug is not like acid or shrooms , with different visuals ... people who say things like this have never had shrooms or lsd . drugs of the dissaciative category are a crap shoot . you may be one of the low percentage of people who love them . most folks have a really awful time with this stuff , like i said huge huge regret . some people not so lucky , pcp , special k or ketamine and robotrips - thyese are all dissaciative class drugs can and will make a good percentage of people who use them have horrific flip outs. it gets you very very entally ill , and the side effects make you feel like living dead for weeks . no thanks. if you must do this crap , take a tiny ammount . be ready to call an ambulance and be locked up for a month - and thats if you are lucky . the hell they will send you to is something you will pray harder to a god to free you from than you ever have prayed . then again , you may be one of the very small number of freaky people who love this type of drug because it does not reak havock on theri nervous system for some reason . generally speaking these types drugs are not considered good drugs these are the worst street drugs , next to krockadille or tranq is worse , this type of drug is very very risky and if you do flip out on them well at that point people have been known to do all sorts of things like cutting off their genitals , cannabalism , murder , putting your baby in the oven on broil because it cried etc . dissociates are the worst drug . they are not chill ,this is not " kind of like weed " with different visuals .... look into it . kids abusing this stuff , like benadryl challange or eating jimson weed , this is how you end up being a story people tell that begins with " this one dude i knew " and it ends up with you dead / fried / missing your penis / fried . etc . all drugs are bad . none of them are really good for you . sometimes people can help themselves by taking small amounts of the right type of mushrooms . what i mean when i say that is not cubensis . weed is addictive . like a motherfucker . all things in balance .

I feel like denormalizing could be great for alcohol for example, but I wouldnt make any drug illegal, as the drug itself is not "evil". We should teach people about safer use and trust in their responsibility to do what they want with their body. If someone destroys themselves, thats their thing yk - addiction e.g. is not only related to the drug you take but also to your living circumstances.. Legalizing and controlling drugs would be my way to go ;) edit: making fent illegal would be devastating for medical use

Tobacco should be denormalized, it's not as bad for you as alcohol. Tobacco addicts obviously have high risk of lung cancer, but alcoholics have heart, brain and liver damage that can develop in only a few years of abuse. Edit: tobacco should only be sold at smoke shops that for 18+, but customers should be limited to 10 cigarettes per day or the equivalent in dried tobacco. The same way weed is sold in many countries like the Netherlands and USA

I definitely agree alcohol and nicotine are garbage and belong in F tier. Nicotine does have some medical value to schizophrenics, but beyond that, there is no upside. I also agree that benzos are really bad because they are so addictive, unless they are used in very specific situations that cause anxiety (eg., getting on an airplane once a year). By far the safest benzo is Valium, and unfortunately it is almost impossible to get any more. Xanax is far more addictive, shorter acting and doesn't feel as good. Klonopin feels as good but is also a lot more addictive and higher toxicity. Ativan is the worst because it made me have really dark thoughts and I never wanted to do it again. As usual, it seems that the safest option, Valium, is the least available - like with alcohol and tobacco being widely available but cannabis and psychedelics being strictly illegal in most countries.
