Some nice catches on light gear mate. Respect the grind
Yes in Turkey i have a Kanu and I fish a reef all the time wich is being fished by 80 different people over the week but 20 a day plus speerfisherman and it’s quite hard (i catch "good" but only after 6h of no fish fishing but fishing time fly’s by so yeah
You speak German?
I dont, English, Maltese and some spanish
I have simular problems with the most octopus but if you can try and grab the jig
the plan was to get it on the ledge then grab its head, but you can see in the clip a wave came in last second and washed it into the crevice
Really cool man great job i do a lot of ul fishing in Turkey and around Mallorca when i am on holiday and i always use the exist and a hearty rise ul rod and wanna swap to the same reel you have as the exist dies and needs repear quite quick, do you clean/ oil your reels and if what routing are you following? Would love a reply have that problem for years now
Hey mate, if you have issues with an exist you're definitely not solving them with a reel worth 1/5th the price. Probably best to swap over to a Shimano vanquish, or something along those lines if you aren't a fan of Magseal. I usually just rinse the reel every trip with the drag locked down, and every few trips give it some oil. If it makes some funny noises I'll open it up and grease the inside
Been watching fishing contents for years, but never found a content as educational and interesting atst. Keep it up bud
Thank you! it means a lot boss 😃
What braid and line do u use
yamatoyo x4/ gosen roots x4
leader 0.16/18/20/23mm fluoro
I bought nearly everything in Ur bio lol.... The rod and basically nearly all the lures and clips, everything...., even ended up getting a reel too 😅
@@jeromeabela569 Everything on there is stuff I use personally, i think you'll find it just as good as i do!
@@fishinginthemed3110 I hope so lol 😂
Hi , I am a beginner. Can I ask you a question? Can you tell me how to choose the jighead weight?
@@yasinozkaran4417 Usually i use as light as possible for that spot and wind conditions, you need the lure to be able to hit the bottom with the minimum weight possible, to keep it looking natural
Great video 🎣👍
@@sme70 Thanks for watching!
Great stuff
thanks for watching!
Amazing tutorial. You're a pro. Any recommendations for targeting larger fish from the coast specifically?
@@David-ej9jp use heavier gear, work around deeper areas with current
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Amazing video and such a thorough presentation! What about temperatures/seasonality? Are they more likely to be found during autumn/winter/days when the water is colder? I fish in the south east of Italy where the rocks look exactly the same as Malta and you know how hard it can be to catch anything with artificial lures so I can't express how valuable I find your channel/TikTok profile!
@@AngelicalOrABeat Bream are not migratory, so they’re always around. In this case it was late winter-early spring. (breeding season) apart from that time it’s hard to so many so active, but in summer i’ve still caught a bunch just in different ways (like in my last video)
@@fishinginthemed3110 Awesome, thank you! One more question: what about fishing at night or like 2 hours before dawn? Is this technique still effective in your experience?
@@AngelicalOrABeat Since bream aren’t ‘true hunters’ they dont regularly have a massive activity spike at dawn like most predators, rather it’s more about finding the right conditions where they’ll be eating. Regarding nighttime- specifically when crabs are moulting (i havent pinned down how to track it) there are gigantic bream in extremely shallow spots. i’ve managed to find them a half dozen times to the point that i can sightcast for the big ones, but it’s always very late into the night. you might have better luck in the ports and lit up sheltered areas generally at night
@@fishinginthemed3110 dude it almost feels wrong getting all this knowledge for free - amazing, thank you so much! How did you get this knowledgeable? Do you have a marine biology background?
@@AngelicalOrABeat Thanks mate, all i know is from pattern recognition. just paying attention to little things that are different when you get a bite. For 14 years 😂😂 if you need any more info in depth shoot me a dm on instagram or tiktok 🤙
Can you go fishing one time in a port with very light jigs and lures maybe try to target a nice blue runner maybe a bluefish would love to see keep posting i love your vids
Collecting some clips for bigger runners right now 🤝 + the last couple of bluefish i hooked didn’t end so well😂 so not very possible to target them on this gear
Dude these are not fundamentals. I feel a sudden surge in my learning curve after watching this video. So glad to see you can always improve and learn Thanks!
Thanks!😊 you can always learn something new haha
sick video, which country is this
Thanks! It's in Malta, Mediterranean sea.
Very good and informative video thank you
Thanks for watching 🤝
my fish and last fish (so far) on hardbaits was a weeverfish on a 85 patchinko. I literally saw it jump for it
I hate it when they do that 🤣gets your heart racing for nothing lol
@@fishinginthemed3110 i mean for a first time harbait fish + topwater it was pretty cool but i had 0.14 leader so it was rlly sketchy
Your techniques amaze me. Great video
cheers buddy! thanks for watching
D the best pssible❤
Thank you!
well done bro
Thanks!
Great stuff, subbed. I have a few questions as I've recently started getting into LRF, do you mind answering a few of them I'm very new to this hobby and learning has been a very steep curve for me😅 1. Do you let the jighead sink to the bottom? 2. How do I avoid snags? (I lost a ton of tackle because I fish on the breakwaters, RIP ☠️) 3. I have a Ryobi Krieger 4000 FD reel, do you think it is too heavy for LRF? Thank you in advance, looking forward for more of your phenomenal content. Tight lines bro
Hey thanks for watching! 1: yes, you need contact with the bottom for soft plastics bream fishing. Not for every lrf approach though 2: some snags are unavoidable, on this particular day i snagged probably 10+ times and retrieved it on 5. try weedless maybe, and count your sink time. that way you can keep it on the bottom minimally 3: way too big, i wouldnt even consider 3000 for lrf. Overkill and those reel sizes just arent built for sub pe1 line. With that setup maybe consider a more HRF or medium spinning approach for bigger fish!
Another excellent and informative video 👌🎣
Thank you! Much appreciated 😄
Really good video 👌 Some great tips and detail that I hope to put to good use on future trips abroad, thanks 🙌🎣
All about recognizing the right spots with these fish, from there its like clockwork ;)
Great video man!! Good stuff!!! I’ve always wanted to make a kayak video for my channel!! Love watching your videos mate! Awesome job, keep it up! 🤝💪
Thanks man! i got into it this year to be honest, but it's pretty fun to be out on the open water. Tight lines 🎣🎣,
Nice! The seabream, blue runner and dentex are all great catches! Im liking the videos on this channel man. Keep it up bro
Thanks brother, takes time and patience to find decent fish, i had footage of like 60 combers on my drive 🤣🤣 but eventually a decent fish shows up

Great video as usual bro
thanks boss💯
W vid bro and high quality, your fishing spot looks like an area that could have giant Trev's
Thanks! havent come across any big ones yet but i agree 😁
Great Video!
thanks for watching!
Thanks for these videos man. They really do help me, i need to target sea bream more as i dont really fish for them on artificial.
Glad you enjoy them! seabream are one of the harder fish to catch on artificials, way easier on bait. but they definitely are rewarding fish to target 🤝🤝 Thanks for watching!
From where do you get your lures thanks for the video I really admire you
And the rods too if you don’t mind
@@Hookandline-mm2bk aliexpress, tackle shops or digitaka, seabream arent super picky on days like this. Rod is listed in description or in my ig profile. Thanks for watching!
