Hello! Nice video! I learned a lot, I was wondering if you could help me with something. I have a Miyota 8200 movement without the A so just Miyota 8200. I installed it in a dive watch of mine and had to take it out and redo the hands a few times. It say for a couple of months and then one day I picked it up and I just tried to change the time and when I did I origianally tried to move it backwards because the current time was just an hour or so behind where it already was. After a few windes it got really stiff and then I tried to move it forward and then it got really stiff again. I then in my haste forced the crown backward and it seemed to snap a bit and then the minute and hour hands suddenly fell flat on the dial. I then took it apart and changed the hands and got them looking the way they should. The crown and stem had a really hard time going back in and when I would pull to set the time it would just come all the way out so it wouldnt lock well. I finally got it to lock but then the issue stayed the same....I would get a few turns either forward or backward and then it would get really stiff and wouldn't move well. The day function also seemed to have a hard time changing....this just very suddenly happened. Can you tell me if you know what may be wrong? I would greatly appreciate it.

Does WD-40 damage Gasket in watch in 1 use , i did something dumb although i didn't directly sprayed on Back of The watch just in Bracelets, i tried to clean rust in my watch using wd-40 its still working but i am worried about Gasket do you think it will be fine thankyou.

That's the problem, you never know how the fakes were made. They could have an after market mechanism such as from Seagull, Miyota or even Seiko (N35A), all of which would actually be high quality, or it could be a quartz mechanism which would keep much better time and would not need as much maintenance. The case and bracelet could be a plated base metal which will reveal itself over time or be actual stainless steel. But if all you want is a usable watch...

Par mi la familia 6000mil de seiko y la 5000mlo 6119 ect es de lo mejor que izo seiko este calibre e. Comcreto es una simplificación del anterior el cual tenía remonte y parada de segundero lo llaman básico o caballo de batalla puedo asegurar que tengo 5 sports del año 70 con el 6119 c y 68 sin un servicio y marchan en parametros con a y b el b es el más escaso y difícil de encomtrar por su escaso periodo de fabricación solo estuvo unos pocos meses a lo que boy con toda la simplicidad recordemos que el calibre tiene una pletina para el tren de rodaje de tres cuartos con lo que luego conlleva montarla es decir todo el tren de rodaje de un solo paso si no se está acontunbrado a estas pletinas puede ser una verdadera locura se puede hacer difícil luego de si ple no tiene nada comparado con calibres de la época suizos pues seiko tiene por decirlo complicar más el montage por la cara superior lis sistemas de pase y carga por ejemplo en mi lor matic special usa calibre hit beat 28slternancias el mismo no mejor que el gran y king de la épica pir que incorporaron el íntimo calibre seiko clásico o sea con ruedas inversora y con pieza de pase fecha metálica ya que en el anterior la pusieron plástica y solía romper este calibre horologiacamente es una locura y se sigue considerando moderno tiene stop segundero nada nuevo carga manual la complicación es que el la rueda rochec de carga auto. Ática no lo e visto en ningún otro está por debajo del calendario ose en la otra cara de donde le corresponde esta el sistema de pirateo parada el sistema de remonte y el pase completo day date parece más un módulo le cronografo y la familia 6000 6119ect tiene gmt 28 mil alternancia con stop con stop y parada de hecho gay seiko sg y king con calibres de dicha familia en cambio los 7s y familia para mi son otra cosa son fiables pero seiko digamos que los hizo básicos y no se molesto en complicaciones no me gustan con los 4r o anteriores 16r otra vez se ve en interés de seiko del 4r en adelante tiene un listado impresionante yo a miro mucho más y solo colecciono mecánicos a seiko que a rolex mucho más desarroyo más calibres a aportado más al mundo horologo que muchas casa de alta relojeria y sin ánimo de faltar menospreciar a seiko por los precios me parece que es de gente que no conoce este mundo desde finales de lis 50 con su primer reloj de manufactura no a hecho más que romper moldes y es muy normal que con Citizen tunvsran el mercado por que de citi3se conoze. Cuatro modelos y calibres pero realizo una serie de calibres de manufactura impresionantes más a la Suiza pero menudos calibres asta los 79 o acquisition de miyota también se menosprecia a citizen yo soy me tira más seiko pero a miro a citizen sobre todo periodo 50 a 80 y es cierto que a seiko le costó un psíquico producir el marvel si no me equivoco citizen produjo antes calibres propios y citizen produjo el primer cronografo mecánico de cuerda manual japonés no fue seiko seiko produjo el primer automatico en fin muy buen calibre 6119 si le hubiesen incorporado stop hacking parada segundero hubiese sido la ostio
