The Tones - Steady Rhythms
An original song here. A weird mix of musical inputs. I almost never write personal lyrics, usually inventing characters and situations, but in this case these are personal (though exaggerated perhaps). I have had an idea for this song for a long time, originally called Routines - but then I fed a few lyrics into an AI song generator (Suno.com) and that gave me the idea of the musical part of the song. I also wanted to focus on a simpler tune, less parts and attempt to get a decent guitar sound. At the very last minute, after my original master, I went back and removed some parts to create more difference between verses and chorus.

Good job, Tony. I like everything about it, all the playing is good and your voice is on good form. The video is very clever! I've never heard anything by the Arctic Monkeys before. Only listening on a laptop but it all sounds nicely balanced.
Arctic Monkeys were originally a breath of fresh air as a youthful indie rock band, but have no turned into some kind of weird lounge act :). Thanks as always.
