    I recall the 'Soudley Ponds' (as we called it in Littledean). It's where I learned to swim with my brother, Roy. No swimsuits, no life preservers, just our shirts turned back to front) We also set night lines to catch the fish. Illegal? I presume it was but none of us village boys seemed to care and I believe that 'ranger' if such a position existed in those days days, would merely have given us a hefty kick in the arse and told us to piss off. I( still love my memories of 'Soudlley Ponds' I Wonder what remains today. One day I'll go back - from my beautiful present location in Rushworth township in Victoria, Australia.

    Nicely done and quietly spoken which is super and well produced with appropriate atmospheric music carefully placed, well done. Hoping to visit there shortly and you made me even more look forward to, perhaps with a little magical enhancement from our mushroom friends - lol.

    Lovely walk and both places are well worth a visit but if you want to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the forest do not go on weekends or holidays as you are constantly dodging out of the way of cyclists and the shrieking and yelling from Go Ape can be very intrusive. Also, take note that there is a parking charge at the Mallards Pike car park if you choose to start there.

    If it were mere symbolism, then why in the world was the crowd of actors and dancers bowing down to it? I tell you now, the presented to you their God Baal or if you like Molek. God of the Cainite bloodline and Babylon worship. What is hidden is Mystery Babylon.

    • @MattsRandomAdventures
      @MattsRandomAdventures Год назад

      Er... except that the actors and dancers didn't bow down to it. They freed the chainworkers, approached the bull with lights, pacified it and overcame it ending the tension and suffering in the city. Surely a positive message however you choose to interpret it? I suspect you didn't watch the whole show and have instead seen an extract edited to support a different narrative - just more fake news.

    Some idiots think that this with the bull is a religious thing and the huge bull is the antichrist and that Birmingham sounds a Babel and those dancing around are celebrating the devil. I just told them that the bull is the city's emblem and to shut the hell up.

    If you are wondering about the symbolism of the bull then these links will help... The bull is the symbol of the City of Birmingham due to the historic Bull Ring Market en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bull_Ring,_Birmingham#History In the opening ceremony the bull represented the oppression of chain workers in the area warwick.ac.uk/services/library/mrc/archives_online/exhibitions/cradleyheath/ uptheossroad.wordpress.com/2017/09/03/slavery-and-the-black-country-collars-and-chains/ The fiery eyes and smoke hark back to the iron furnaces that dominated the West Midlands during the industrial revolution en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Country#History en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Industrial_Revolution#Iron_industry

      @@simongacheche2974 The above statement by Matts Random Adventures is correct as he states it represents Birmingham affiliation with Bull Bating going back to Anglo Saxon Times in the area the Bull ring shopping center exists now who's emblem is a Spanish bull of which there is a Bronze bull at the Entrance to the Bullring Center, nothing to do with religion and this Bull is returning in the Summer for permanent display at Birmingham New Street station as their was a vote by us Brummies to keep it as it was such a tourist attraction when it was on display after the Games.
