I know some fakes are very easy to tell like the ones you have. But some fakes are very good and harder to tell. It’s gotten to the point you may think the real ones are fake. Lol! I just got a used pair and I noticed the rubber sole was easy to bend and the real ones were not easy to bend and seen not as thin in the rubber sole. Also the real ones have the size printed on the bottom and the fakes don’t. But I’m not sure if Converse are still putting the size on the sole currently bc your real pair don’t have the size number. Yeah, it’s not getting easy telling now bc I like other brands like Nike, that change styles each year, whereas Converse has looked the same since the 79’s. Meaning a simple design made the same way for decades, the fake should’ve had enough time to mastering the fakes by now.

How to fix: It is likely that during heavy rain the PDC (parking distance control) module is flooded with water which is causing short circuit and faulty reading displays. The PDC is located in the boot compartment just below the driver side right corner of the tail lights. Please check this to ensure PDC is not flooded with water.
