Replaced the motor on the lathe and added a vfd. The main cogged belt has always been offset but it is worse now. Made and installed a spacer to correct the offset.

2020-03-07 Bucket pin for a Dig-It 198T. Pin in the video is made from 12L14 but made one before this one from 4140. Neither pin was hardened so we'll see how they last.
Thanks man, those rubber piece i cut out of a old tire. With just a razor blade. I wasn't to sure about doing the repairs till I saw this. Was easier than expected.
There's a better way: ruclips.net/video/PBSmyXnKJl4/видео.html
Thanks for the video. Had same issue and this works great!
my first shot is fine but then the rest of the "round clip" that the pellets are in become misaligned and won't shoot anymore. I have to manually fidget with the "round clip" to make it work. help.
My guess would be the disc that holds the pellets is worn on the teeth in the middle. Since the teeth are worn it doesn't rotate the proper amount. Hard to say without seeing it. You can buy more clips on eBay cheap.
I made a new rubber spring out of cured urethane cut it to fit worked perfect.
What was the resulting fix for this? A random piece of rubber glued to the original?
A piece of rubber to replace the original. The softer the better.
my latch's O piece that goes around the stake was broke
Terrible video
I have this exact same problem; but now I know the fix; thank you!
I solved the problem by replacing the rubber block with a small coil spring glued with Attack.
The spring would probably put less pressure on the parts under it. I worried the o-ring material would be too hard and repeated pressing might damage something under it, but I don't use it much so I figured it would be ok.
@@xslayer91 If you don't find a suitable spring, you can put a smaller one inside the other, until you get the pressure you need. I had to make the change because shooting with the new can the gun opened. Now it works fine.
@@pietrobernini4471 Thanks for the tip.
Exactly what I needed to see. Thanks
Me to
looks like someone is clueless.
I subscribed, I attempted to mill on my lathe with purchased attachments ( I tried 2 different devices), and terrible results, I gave up and bought a used Bridgeport Mill. I'm very interested in seeing how you make out.
When giving a presentation the general wisdom is to first tell what your going to tell, tell it, and then recap. Some youtube creators think it is a good idea to build something without first showing the thing to be built. You did too. Why?
you broke it
very nice!
Looks horrible
so does your mom.
