I need to get a shop vac , I heated the Kamado grill to 600 plus degrees Fahrenheit for about 30 to 45 minutes to clean the inside . Mine was really dirty from low and slow cooking . Scooped out the ashes and brushed the whole inside and top . Came out really nice ! I will wipe the outside a little later . Wire brushed the grate and seasoned with cooking oil to keep it from rusting . All ready for the next Football game . Thanks for the video !

Bra video! Skulle du säga att du fortsatt är nöjd med pizzaugnen? Skulle du säga att storleken räcker mer än väl för en pizza, eller känner du att "det hade varit bra med en större bakyta emellanåt"? Jag behöver inte göra mer än en pizza åt gången, men skulle vara tråkigt om det skulle kännas för trångt emellanåt. Då kan en större ugn vara till fördel- men tar mer än gärna dina intryck såhär 2 år senare 🙂

Excellent. I'm also trying to make a 400°C pizza with my Joe Jr. but I'm having trouble getting the kamado to that temperature with the stone inside (probably because it restricts the airflow inside). I have a stone of 28cm in diameter.
I’m pretty sure that is the stone that resticts the airflow.

Har för mig att jag körde öppet när jag gräddade pizzan. Men stängde mellan pizzorna.

Do you think it's a good idea to add a few pieces of wood for some flame? I noticed that 400 degrees with the deflector and the stone in are difficult to reach (and maintain) without a nice flame in the fire box.
how long did it take and what temp? i always use the deflectors and it works but assume takes way longer
You forgot to mention the wrench size and the end for the air hinge adjustment

Hi, I took the lid off to carry it to the backyard and now I can’t put them back together lol I’m stuck at putting cylinder to “kill the pressure”? Right now the cylinder won’t fit in the bottom. Do I turn it to right? Or left. I’ve done it both way but it doesn’t seem like it’s making any progress to get longer to put the cylinder on.
excellent tip. well made . for my kamado. perfect . so i can dismantle it in 2 pieces to carry it upstairs myself . i do not have a joe. but a generic exactly like this one .

I use an old version of Ankarsrum. But anything works. Even making it by hand.
How do you heat up the Kamado to 400C?? Whatever I do, it remains around 250-300
I usually have no issues with getting it up to temp. Clean grill, fully open wents and Big block charcoal works for me.
Under cooked
One of the six nuts on the hinge assembly keeps spinning without loosening. Looks like i need to take off the dome to access the back of that stud to keep it from spinning yeah?
