4g63 aways has a place in my soul! The best of times...the worst of times. AWD 1GA was my first car in the late 90s. My parents had no idea what she was hiding under that sexy speed bump and behind those pop up headlights. I made all of the upgrades myself for the first year and half. Learned to weld, like trash lol, for the exhaust. Pieced together tube fittings for boost controller. With help from a dude I went up to at a local shop at 17yrs old and asked if he helped me tig together ic piping and 4 stock sidemount ic cores as a front mount before I upgraded the turbo from an old truck at the junkyard. Only thing I bought, which took a year of saving, was injectors, apexi to control fuel and greddy type-s. Pulled everything not needed for her to go. Even the AC and it was north Florida. 😂

Little known fact, Leon's old 1g racing spectator drags at Seekonk Speedway is what introduced me to DSMs in 1999. So it's all his fault! I still consider myself a New England DSMer, best group of people there ever was.

what's all that red tape? haha I bought this engine and will put into a Mitsubishi lancer/Mirage I will use a megasquirt to control it, any advise or info on the MIVEC part of it, should you go for delete or try to tune it with the megasquirt?

This is great podcast! As a DSMer since 1998 I love 💕 what Tunes and Tunes do, please don’t change. Also the reason most of us watch certain channels it’s because car we love, if you start mixing it with Camaro SS for example you start loosing audience hence why they have views but no subscribers.
