Mystery Train
Been a while. I suddenly got the urge to listen to this song.
Finding this GEM after 40 years is like having whipped cream on top of a Dairy Queen Cone
The most underrated song they have, they don't miss a beat masterclass
lasst uns in diesem Glück fröhnen!
Schwoißfuaß einfach Kult.
Das waren noch Zeiten 😀, echt gailes Lied.
Schwoißfuaß: so muss Schwoba-Rock klingen.
1980. Gute Menschen. Jung. Alternativ. Dogmatisch. History is repeating itself.
Dedicated to Mary Werbelow, Jim's truthful muse
Yeah!!!
The first time I heard this is when the box set came out which I didn't hesitate to buy. It reminded me of some of the concerts from the early seventies. A few groups did long jams like this. Mountain was another group who did similar jams like this as well as Ten Years After.
Heute aktueller denn je

Very similar lyrics to a song titled "mystery train" done by Elvis, Jerry Garcia Band, and written and performed by Junior Parker in 1953
It's a homage

It sounds like a train. I did not know the Doors wrote one called "Black Train". By coincidence I titled a song "Old Black Train". I tend to lean on it during tough times. I'll get lost in the rhythm and forget all my troubles for the moment.
everything gonna work out fine....nothing else to say...things get better
they didnt write it. its a Sam Phillips / Junior Parker song .... look up "Elvis Presley - Mystery Train"
Its the Box Set
ist super

I can't find this song on iTunes? Is it a cover or what's the original song?
It's not a song per se, but rather a medley they liked to perform in concert - Curtis Mayfield's "People Get Ready", Junior Parker's "Mystery Train", "Away In India", and "Crossroad Blues" by Robert Johnson. This one I think is taken from the Live In Detroit album issued in 2000 by Rhino records, and there's also a version of the medley available on the 2005 Rhino release of Live In Philadelphia. Not sure if either of those albums are on iTunes, though.
it might be under black train jam or mystery train jam
You can find this song on the album Without a Safety Net, not sure if its on iTunes.
it always brings me back to simpler time when life was good we had friends not phones and screens
Muchas gracias En serio me ayudo mucho
Aguanten The Doors y el blues
