It’s been 2 years with your Chisos, do you still love them?
Absolutely! Anytime I am in a place that sells boots, I am still amazed on how low quality the boots and leather (if even leather) have become. Chisos are definitely not in that category.
@@JustinThomasCountryMusic I could not agree more. I was at a western shop in CO recently and all men's boots were cheap low-quality stuff. So glad smaller companies are trying to revive high quality men shoes. Just got my #1 Chisos today btw! I'm thrilled!
Great video. Just a note about your sizing comment. Foot width is equally important as foot length. If you’re a 13EE , no way you can squeeze inside a 13D. People who have trouble finding the right size should be demanding proper width availability from sheomakers

@@JustinThomasCountryMusic Sure, that is possible. This place was called Showbiz (or maybe Shobiz) Studio, which was located off of one of the main roads in Murfreesboro, Tenn. There was a Checkers fast food place nearby, on the same side of the road. The owner was into Rockabilly, and he had a nice recoding setup, including a tape recorder with large reels, which I assume was pretty standard for the time. He also let bands come in for rehearsal space, and he had that drum set up on the left side of the wall. The mixing area was off to the left, shortly after you walked in the building. I did some recording there sometime between 1996 and 1998. The owner was a cool guy and had lots of character. "It makes the world go around" was one of his often-used remarks.
@@gbfusion Well, you have the right place! That time frame is when I started going there as well. Richard Sadler was the owner and is no longer with us. Once that place closed, there was never another one that was opened.

Interestingly .. Mine didn’t fit me, and I ordered a 1/2 size up and I’m waiting for them. So one thing for sure is that dont have proper sizing figured out, I love my Tecovas, fits perfect and amazing boots. I see on your boots the sticking is off center ( that’s kind of wack ) hopefully it’s not the case when I get the boots. Love to see a long term review. Your old Justin’s look amazing though, maybe better than the new Chisos lol

Hi Stephen, I think I might need to frame my old boots.... they have done a lot for me. I have replaced quite a few of my boots over the past years. I find myself wearing my Chisos more regularly than any other boots right now.

I have the same Justins but in Black. They are 42 years old now. I can't say they fit the same as when I got them my feet are getting wider with age but I can still wear em although they are tight.
I'm going to save my money for a year and buy a pair of Chisos! I still like my Durango boots though, even though they were bought from a store.
I been keeping my eyes on this brand since they first came out.Those are sharp, really sharp That's how a snip toe should look. Most, nowadays look Iike wide duck feet with double sticking (ugly). Will be buying a pair of these in the future.
I couldn't agree more! This new style on most boots are cut way to much (too wide) - I also thought it looked like duck feet or snorkeling fins. To me, it just doesn't look right on a cowboy boot. Love my Chisos!
