I started racing at 51 years old in 2022. I should have started much earlier. I started taking these videos so that I could review what really happens in a race.
Most of the races are D or C grade at Footscray Cycling Club.

Victoria University, Hoppers Crossing
Followed attacks early and spent too much time on the front and ran out of gas early.
Some good examples of the benefits of drafting vs solo into a headwind on the straight.

Had a reasonable handicap with a good group of four. Couldn't keep up on the main climb. Eased up so I had legs when caught by the next group and dropped on the same climb. Thanks. I use dashware which is free. It needs tcx files so I use either Garmin, golden Cheetah or intervals.icu to convert wahoo fit to tcx
