      I believe it comes with a 4 year subscription from new. Unsure of the cost for year 5 onwards

    Thanks for the review. A huge disadvantage of the car is the glossy plastic panel surrounding the central display, as well as the central display itself, which becomes dirty immediately after the first touch of a finger.

    Great overview! The only thing I don’t like is that the climate control buttons disappear from the screen in some modes, and the fan speed is buried in a secondary menu. I CONSTANTLY adjust the fan for noise & comfort. I could also do without the automatic wipers-those always startle me when they come on. My nervous system thinks it’s a car or deer crashing into me out of nowhere

    @2mins 09sec you plugged into a charger and said the charge time from 0 to 100% is approx 11hrs, SERIOUSLY, so a journey of 300 miles could take approx 17hrs including the stop for a charge, jezzzzzz think I will go with Tesla.

      @@theylive1999 xc40 b3p core 2023, there's not even a balance so the sound is one sided when driving, only front and rear as an option. Flagged this up to Volvo and they said that the High Performance specification was down graded to make way for Google play. There not even a head light tilt dial. A massive difference to the T3 I previously had. Please check your spec, high performance means equaliser etc but I have not got this.

    You’ve missed how to unlock the car without the fob - put your hand under the door handle or press the button on the door handle to lock. Might be worth doing some research on your car.

    i keep hearing that android auto is not available anymore, so how would i connect my android phone to the system, say to play some music off my android phone for example?

      You would sign into the car with your Google account that you use for your android phone and all your apps, settings, music etc will sync/move over to the cars system automatically…

      No themes, only Bass and Treble in the sound options, massive downgrade from my original T3. Please be aware of the High Performance sound system is only Bass and Treble, no fade, equaliser or balance.

    Interesting video racing a couple of questions. I have a 2022 XC40 P6 so am familiar with most of the things and so far am quite enjoying the vehicle. However, I notice, your car shows 90% charge and a range of 210 miles. In the 7 months since taking delivery of my car, I have never got anywhere near 210 mile range on 90%. The closest I've come is 200 miles and that is with range optimiser on, one pedal driving activated and driving really gently. How on earth have you managed to get that range? I'd love to hear. The other question is you pointed out the front and rear demisters which look the same on my car, however, there is no heated screen on my car as the front delisted button just activates the fan on full. Is this the same on your vehicle or does yours have a front heated screen like my previous 1st Edition EXC40? I wondered why the heated front screen was missing on my car as the trim is ultimate. Is this to save battery power or is it due to the chip shortage? Cheers

      @norbertmayer7005 Год назад

      A lot of city driving will extend the range. For instance the XC40 recharge has a maximal range of 300 miles when used in city and the AC turned of in summer.

    • @anonymouspdg6121
      @anonymouspdg6121 Год назад

      I'm impressed as thats way above Volvo's own maximum range prediction. Most of my driving is around town and the maximum range I have ever had predicted was 240 miles which I was happy to accept as I know manufacturers figures are unachievable unless everything is turned off, the roads are flat and the outside temperature is 20 degrees. In other words, not going to happen lol.😂
