These bubbles are showed on my laptop login screen and I am not able to input password to login. Is there any shortcut key to disable touch screen driver?

Dude, thank you for posting this video! Not only is it annoying is hell, but they make the option to disable this as difficult as they could to find. Seriously, why under device management?? Why cant they just put it under "touch screen settings" like most people would know where to look? Dickhead designers.

This is a great temp resolution if you can wrangle the mouse pointer over to the device manager to disable. Once disabled the issue does go away, but as soon as another update comes along or I reboot, the HID-compliant touch screen is enabled again and I"m back to square one. Its beyond frustrating and pretty much renders my HP Envy useless until I am able to get it disabled. MIcrosoft needs a fix to this.

i spent $30CND and got another used motherboard through eBay. Did the install myself and the ghost vanished. Before purchase i had the seller guaranty no ghosting and he did and was right. My problem came with power cord attached and WiFi enabled at the same time. Same X220 machine. Best of luck guys.

The touch screen doesn't appear under Human Interface Devices. It's like my laptop doesn't have one, but clearly it does, because I use it occasionally and I have the ghost touch issue. Maybe the hardware is damaged to the point that my laptop can't detect it anymore?

I have an asus netbook And im not sure if the problem is in the keyboard But when i type in word or notepad it suddenly types letter l on its own I think its ghost touching So i came here But then as i went to the device manager I coudn’t find the human interface … Please help me how can I solve this problem?

Yeah my touchscreen stopped working about a year ago and the bubbles are new as of 4 months ago. They don't always happen, but when they do they're always on the far right side closing, opening and changing programs. Weird thing though when the bubbles happen my touchscreen actually works, but it's limited due to the bubbles. I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 yoga

Thank you, actually, the bubbles made it hard for me to put the right password on my laptop cuz the bubbles lies right on the password tab 😂 I have to battle these bubbles in a tricky way so I could input my password, then I have to battle to go to the settings and I made it, I followed the 2nd troubleshooting and I think my problem is gone now. I hope so, I wasn't able to open my laptop yesterday because of these annoying bubbles on my password tab T-T
