Thank you, that was very useful! This was actually just the initial part of kicking off the project and starting the conversation with the client. We usually need to work on different proposals, and doing the analysis for each proposal used to be very time-consuming. Now, I believe this tool makes this stage faster, more productive, and better organized in terms of presentations and data. I'm looking forward to exploring this tool further
Hello, I tried selecting and turning on Data layers but they won't appear on the map or on the column on the side. Is this a limitation for the free version?
Hi there, Uploading custom data is not available in the free version. However, you can search our extensive layer library from the Data Layer button. If you need more help, please reach out in the question mark at the bottom right of your Giraffe app.

Speckle doesn't allow for 3D data to be downloaded to Rhino. Is there a link for the Python script? Thanks!

This is literally a gift of the Lord. This makes things extremely easy for architects, engineers and designers. It's strictly easy attacking the program zoning of the building WITH the context. It's good education and awareness for professionals and non professionals. Excellent tool.

Useful tool… thanks for sharing. Be careful with your value calcs for the existing commercial building, capitalising higher vacancy rates in perpetuity. You should be capitalising a long term stabilised occupancy rate with a further deduction for lost rent during a letting up period to return to assumed longterm occupancy rate.
This is great @Bennyjg123 - thanks for the note. Can you share an example of that calculation in google sheets? Agree re: my assumptions/valuation. They are a bit naive / simplistic. But the example is very handy to show how the occupancy drives the value equation - and it's all based on whether you think the market will recover or not. The simplistic valuation obviously assumes it will not.

This is a very old version of Giraffe and the solar analysis app is totally different from what I am using at the moment. I am not sure if Giraffe could give the exact percentage of sun received on a particular building or it calculate it only for the whole model!
