can we somehow solve the issue of Delivery Notes or say Invoices, as most of the time my supplier from China are not providing these information. Our finance department receives information via EDI but the EDI script will not help our customs department.

Conventional delivery to one grocer , 5 pallets = 10 minutes. ASN at Walmart, 6 pallets = an hour and a half (which is fast for that store)

Wouldn't a system like a Kardex-Remstar be a version of sequencing? I only ask because I have experience with that system. And after installation we improved our line picked per hour from 55-70 to 90-105.

Are you talking about real-time images? Like the cartons to have the camera or just the container? Sounds really interesting ...don't know why I landed here so late.

Great introduction to the issues. Packaging is a huge area that is overlooked for quality shipments. Designers need to remember that their responsibility to a quality product getting delivered relies on the shipment stage as well as the manufacturing stages, otherwise that can break what was otherwise a great item. May not get noticed either for a while, or the recipient may not report back all the damage, so it can be invisible at times, but $1000s can be lost this way.
