That’s the way it is for most people, but not for Cavco built homes. They’re filthy! Puttycaulk wiped on cabinets and windows from the hands of the workers. Over spray of paint on floors and cabinets. Countertops have glue that needs to be razor bladed off. Roof leaked so bad it was raining on our heads at 2am. Rain ran down the rafters to the top of window at headboard and into the house literally splashing on our heads.

You are correct and wrong. 😄😄😄😄 Vacuuming is the first step. You have to remove as much dust and sand before cleaning the surfaces. That is why vacuuming is very important. It saves you lots of time and money.
U definitely never worked a trade specially this one, walls have to be dusted off all the time cuz if you’re an incompetent guy and just paint over it, you’re gonna paint on the dust leaving a rough finish which is not what any painter wants
