This masterpiece won JJ and Ryan 1st Place during the Lorena Males Piano Duet Competition held at SWOSU on 10Nov07. It's a very nice and playful piece and we even had the honor of attending the masterclass with the Composer.

R.I.P Mr. Vandall
Amazing.
Well done. It's easy to get off on measure 93, so hard to fault them for that.

Oh my God, I'm so sorry if anyone misunderstood that comment. I did not for a second mean to discourage--I think it was very, very well played, a lot better than how I performed it. On rereading my comment, I think you're right, it does sound a lot like boasting, so I'm very sorry. It's just that I want to go into music, and I'm very passionate about it, that's all.
hehe its soo great to see dis :D:D i will do dis to i Will work hard to learn on dis lv to i know its almost ..... inposseble but i will try :) GREAT did boys :) !! BRAVO !!!
Man, you guys are really moving! I want this piece to be exciting and you surely brought that out in your performance. You are both extremely secure in your playing and it comes through in your performance. Thank for making my piece come off so excitingly! Robert Vandall
Grats man! I wish you luck. ^^
You mean 5 years after playing this, or 5 years after first taking up violin? I've been playing for 2.5 years (but on an intense level), I'm going to play Sicilienne and Rigaudon for my exam in a month, and in one of my orchestras I'm playing the Mendelssohn concerto. (Not the solo, obviously.)It's the goal of my life to learn the solo, and I think I can do it in less than 5 years.
Consider for each note...if it's not in tune, it is the wrong note!!
i agree. it was really good, but you should be able to play much more advanced stuff by now. not bad!
pretty good =D but after five years you're able to play wayyy harder stuff... like lalo or mendelssohn. challenge yourself! :]
Wow, this is great. Keep it up and you'll give Perlman a run for his money.
