Hello po, ang hirap pag may mga allergies ang ating mga anak di ba? How old is your child? Wala pa ba kayong allergist? Anong allergies ng anak mo? Galing kmi Ontario so akala nmin mahihirapan Kami makahanap kagad ng allergist. Buti na lng naging mabilis yung pagbigay ng referral ng family doctor nmin. Hope makakuha na kayo ng referral. And I’m not offended, I welcome all recommendations esp when it comes to skin conditions. Ang eczema ng anak ko ay usually sa kamay nya. Yung sa katawan nya, parang nag dry kasi di nalagyan ng lotion. Hehe We used cerave cream as moisturizer nya. I remember using restoraderm too when he was little, grabe din kasi yung eczema nya nun. Nakalbo din sya. Buti nga na outgrow nya na except yung sa kamay at lips. And yun nga sa lips nya sobrang dry and chapped tlaga. I think our doctor told us to use aquaphor too or Vaseline. @@PamilyaG i agree. Napakahirap. Trial and error. Nalaman namin na may allergy sya nung 3months old sya. Egg, wheat/gluten, dairy, fish, peanuts and tree nuts. He is now 10 yrs old. Meron kaming allergist noon nung 2 yrs old sya. Pero after nya mag food challenge di na kami bumalik. Siguro disappointed and hopeless ako sa result. Kaya ayun nagbabalik kami for allergy test and hoping na meron na syang naoutgrow. Malapit ang puso ko sa mga bata and nanay na nakakaranas ng buhay ng may allergies. Kaya ito napacomment hehe.. glad to know nagrerespond ang anak mo sa cerave 🥰 and by the way kahit huli na welcome in Alberta 🥰 winter is coming so buckle up hahaha di lang tagos hanggang buto ang lamig tagos pati sa kaluluwa hehehe

Pareho pala ang age ng anak ntin. Naku sis. pa-refer ka na sa allergist malay mo may na-outgrow na sya sa allergies nya. Yung anak ko na-outgrow nya na yung dairy. Tapos sa test nga lumabas na may possibility na wala syang allergy sa shellfish kaya mag food challenge kmi. Sabi ng allergist nmin, the more you avoid the food the more na baka di na. ma outgrow. In our old house, we never use the dishwasher but we do here in our new house. We use it but not everyday. My husband loves our bathtub.

@@PamilyaG I was a latch key kid which meant I usually ate alone as Mom and Dad had irregular hours or had multiple jobs. So using the dishwasher never made sense. And even on the days we had meals together, we were taught to immediately wash what we used. One plate, spoon and fork, bowl and glass took less than two minutes to wash for each family member

Uso po talaga ng carpet dito sa second floor ng bahay. I don’t mind po. It feels cozy and warm and medyo enjoy ko din mag vacuum lalo na pag cordless nman hehe Yung iba tlaga ayaw din ng carpet tlaga.

@@PamilyaG The AirBnBs we stayed at in Toronto which were fairly new had hardwood or engineered wood flooring. Carpets were used sparingly. In fact the house we rented in Vaughan two years ago had no carpeting at all.

I know na di po uso ang carpet sa T0. Yung bahay po nmin sa TO wala din po. And most if not all of our family and friends’ houses, wala din pong carpet sa TO. I was talking about Alberta po.

Hindi po kami sa Airdrie. Actually mas malayo pa po kmi sa Airdrie. We did our research before we moved here. And Airdrie is not an hour away sa Calgary. It’s very close actually. There’s no regret moving here. Maganda ang Alberta. We like it here . What I’m trying to say is may mga bagay na namimiss kmi sa Toronto because our family and relatives are there. And we lived there for 15 years.

Yes, sobrang accessible tlaga ang Toronto. Maganda rin naman dito sa Calgary, marami din nman pwedeng gawin at sobrang ganda ng mga sceneries dito pero syempre namimiss din nmin ang Toronto. 15 years Kami tumira sa Toronto at andun lahat ng pamilya nmin. Nag move Kami dito dahil mura ang bahay. We cannot afford to buy a house sa TO. Tumataas na rin ang presyo ng mga bahay dito sa Calgary. Saving money is great but we also want to enjoy life now kasi you don’t know life is short. But of course, we do save din. Di nman kami magastos sa mga material things and I think yung mga namimiss nmin sa Toronto is essential for our happiness too. Simple lng nman yung mga gusto nmin sa buhay.

Mas mura po kasi ang bahay dito sa Alberta. Nakapag transfer nman po ng work ang asawa ko, same position, same pay kaya ok po. At saka 5% lng po ang tax dito compared to 13% sa Ontario.

Tama po yan, matiisin at matiyaga naman po ang mga Pinoy.

Yes po. Actually naghahanap din ako ng magandang panlinis. Pero ang gamit ko is dishwashing liquid lng. Pag may stain, lagyan ko ng dishwashing liquid yung basahan tapos yun ang ipamunas ko. Try mo lng sa small area lng para tingnan mo muna kung ok. Don’t use water with vinegar, nasira yung seal nung quartz countertop nmin. May part na parang may stain sya dahil dun.
