I think you can craft it, if I am not mistaken, but it will rotate with the mini-set or with the next expansion, not sure. It is kind of like an even the Blizzard did for us to enjoy the game a little more as the card made the difference on the ladder and pushed control decks into the meta again, but I am not sure they will bring the card back to standard again after it rotates =)

I guess, sometimes, you just have to merge with the character to feel the game better lol

You forgot the main rule of this deck, it only wins when it plays against you.

xDDD "The 1st rule of Shaffar Rogue: It never wins. The 2nd rule of Shaffar Rogue: If it win's - that means you are playing against it." (c) HS.

As you could see, something of the same happened to me lol I think maybe more minions draw is required lol

@@DaddySuplex I had a similar situation with dungar, I started 1/8 but then miraculously made 14/9. You can only evaluate the deck depending on the approach of a particular card over a long distance

Well, When I drew shaffar as 60th card in the beginning, I guess I was a little unlucky lol But, you are absolutely right. It hold about 50% WR and it is a strong deck that has a potential to kill fast.

I think this deck can lose only to itself, and it does that a lot, as the whole gameplay is to find shaffar lol Without shaffar this deck just loses to anything lol =)

@@DaddySuplex I play hydration warrior with double dirty rat and mind control tech so it's an auto win. This deck is nasty when it works, but it's solitaire and that's the problem with HS right now! that's why I don't like it.

@@jayp25 That is exactly how I feel about it, too =) Plus, on the video, I drew shaffar once per 60 cards, so, you know, I am surprised that when I play against it, I face lethal turn 5 lol

Some cards will come out, but those are not the main cards for the archetype, I think. Plus, they will introduce some new ones, and this will probably come back in eventually if something changes. The main concern is not the card rotation but whether there will be OP archetypes emerging.

@@DaddySuplex When is the rotation? It's not coming with the Starcraft mini set right? It has to be in the next real expansion.

@@Ghostface4k I think the same, but I have been streaming Hearthstone and following the game overall for less than a year, so I don't really know for a fact how that happens yet.

I am more concerned about rogues being everywhere and asteroids being strong already, not talking about the time when there will be like zero counters to that =(

@@DaddySuplex so make a unique deck to counter it now... would make a good video. I am thinking lots of disruption and a tony in there alongside a greedy odyn warrior sort of deck

I actually think that is a good idea and will think what I can do) Have to make a prep by reviewing what kind of decks are rotating and what will be left so far to see what to play in the first day after rotation)

@DaddySuplex just played vs dk and screwed up my infinite with a misclick, but was able to slap kiljaden down with only plagues left to draw and boom boss next to him on his now empty deck. Missed his kiljaden which he promptly dropped but it was over quickly after that 😆 warrior is my favorite deck and this variant has been kind to me but it's not fun to play against do many asteroid shaman down here in the diamond 4-1

I think a lot of people are unprepared when it comes to infinite decks. The overall idea is strong, and people don't build decks with the idea that they might encounter something like that. I think we are onto something here =)

I guess that is the strength of infinite decks because all you need is like a couple of cool cards and everything else is like cycles and board clears lol

There are always a lot of options for you, mate, to play with =) I created so many DK decks you can play a new one each day so far and never play the same list =)

I've played so many decks for the vids that are kind of like strong on paper, but are not for me at all, and I am like "ok, at least I had to experience that for the vid, not on my own" lol I guess it is like in other games - some things are just not meant for you lol

I miss lethal a lot when I don't have a good sleep =) Being a dad means you have to learn how to play at the top level even when your brain is not willing to work sometimes lol

8 hands is a tech card against asteroid shamans to erase their win conditions. Rarely it can also work against shuffle rogues.

what i dont like about dk is the rune mechanic, why would u ever limit the cards class can play? if those cards are class related...

@@traumerei4111 If they don't limit it like this, they won't create overpowered cards like there are right now for DK. Having too many cool cards will just make DK unbeatable on the ladder, whatever you propose to other classes, so they just limit the strength of cards they need to propose this way.

Well, it certainly has its weaknesses, but the wincon is basically to deal with all the boards, summon huge board by yourself and win out of it. I also added a lot of mind control cards, rats, 8 hands, and other cards that can just ruin win conditions of others. This is kind of like a tech counter deck for those that exist as it can erase their chances to win overall.

No problem, mate! I actually like when people discuss the decks as it helps me to create better ones =) As soon as the critique of the deck is not like "I just don't like it because I just don't" I am glad to read all the thoughts about it! I always hope the deck can get my viewers the desired wins, but I also understand that meta changes each day and sometimes it might fall short in a few days when the video is out, for example, or if the matchups people face are just hard overall even for me who kind of built the deck with the clear understanding of what I want to see on the board and when =)

I guess so, but I usually face more Lynessa paladins and handbuffs are really rare. But, I guess, it could be a good keep against any of those anyway, so you are right.

I played double malted before when it was hitting the face, but for now, I guess that is overkill as it just hits the board. But if you face a lot of aggro, that is definitely something good. I, on the other hand, face zero aggro lol. I also tested Leroy at some point, but I think it was too heavy, and 5 mana for 6 damage is too much. I found that foam does better work as it is 5 mana for 5 damage, and not once, but each turn =) I still think razzlers are still better than even foam or any other extra damage, but 1 card difference should not affect the deck too much.

I have DJI mic and its pretty good and not even cheap, but it is a clip-on microphone and I guess when I move and talk in different directions without being laud enough, it just affects the overall sound quality. Or maybe you talk about something else like the noise? Btw, really appreciate any feedback as I always try to make the content better =)

Before anyone says it, the ramp is one thing but you need to be able to stay stable vs agro and these changes don't hurt in mirrors or control matchups IMHO. Ofc if you wanna net deck you should always sub cards only after experience with the list

I've seen people started to play anti-agro but it has been like 50+ games for me where I didn't see any aggro on the other side of the board. OTKs - sure, but 90% of the matchups are control. I guess that is because I have a really high hidden rank and even when I climb to legend I still play against top players.

Well, high legend players don't like to play aggro at all. I am not competing for like top 1 as I like to try all the decks for the vids and that hurts my rating sometimes =) I mostly just play something I enjoy casually to have some fun and maybe compete for top 100 if I have the time, but with the kid that does not happen every month =) I don't have the time to grind for top 1 as you have to play for too much or grind for years consistently for the hidden rank to be enormous.

@@DaddySuplex ​ @DaddySuplex I feel you dude, my little girl is 4 almost 5 and i have 2 jobs, I play to legend each month but am lucky to total 150 games. Have only made high legend when I have had time off AND been into a particular control deck. I don't even have 500 wins with DH (15k wins or so total in ranked) because I can't abide playing agro, whereas I have over 3k with Warrior XD

That is one of those few times I tried to show many cards as those were new to the meta overall as there were no DKs on a high legend ladder that played control like this, especially something like avatar, plus, I wanted to show off some new cards. Overall, I try a lot of decks and make a lot of decks that no one has tried, and when I try to highlight interesting cards, I usually come out with something like 4-6 cards on a thumbnail. I guess this specific one was too busy =(

But yeah, I still learn how to make better videos and thumbnails on RUclips lol Any feedback is really helpful!
