Question. I see the anti airlock hole drilled in the pvc pipe in some sump pump set ups .. I bought a Jackel Check Valve that screws directly into the pump.. do I still need to drill the anti airlock hole when my check valve is ALL THE WAY at the beginning of the pump. I didn’t install an in-line check valve in the middle of the pipe like yours is in the video.

I know you have to guarantee your work and you sell what you sell, but that Zoeller is a tank and would have still kept running for a long time, even after running hot. Yes you will have to replace switches on them, but they are awesome pumps!

I know you do it for the comments but it’s technically a MIXING VALVE not a diverter. A diverter is a valve that diverts water from the MIXING VALVE to heads,hand held sprayers,or spouts or even to a shutoff valve before its final destination in some high dollar showers. A true shower valve doesn’t have a bottom port which is used for diverting the spout water to the head.

The other day a had my 1 1/2 coming up thru the floor for my sink drain and vent. I ended up forgetting the tee for the drain and just connecting it as a vent. Only noticed as i was walking out the door.

Love liberty pumps. Only pumps we use for sump and sewage at my work. Good Work.

You should read the manufacturers instruction the vent hole in that pipe should be level with the top of the pump if it's submersed in water it has a chance to plug

Why not use a dielectrics on top? Also, did you check the pressure on that expansion tank? The biggest thing I see plumbers miss is checking static water pressure and not inflation the expansion tank accordingly.

Couldn't you just run a drain valve aside from the shut-offs?
