This is a fun debate! Depends on your running style and other shoes in the rotation though. What kind of pairs do you have that you can still use? If this is going to be your only pair though, then you may want to get a foamy daily trainer

@@lazyjulio so right now I don’t have an actual good pair of running shoes just a life style shoe but it does the job, I’m looking for a first tome marathoner shoe for under that $180 mark I’m looking into the Pegs 41 but I’ve seen brooks shoes too I’m just I guess overwhelmed on options

Brooks has a wider range of shoes that are worth trying. If you have a lifestyle shoe though, and they are comfortable, then I would probably recommend purchasing something more aggressive/poppy. Fair warning, logic says you should go for a safe, stable, foamy daily trainer if you don’t really have one, but if your lifestyles are comfortable enough- then that works haha.

I have experienced it before. But honestly, in the Peg40s it wasn’t as bad (for me & my running style). I think the added pods make the new generation a little stiffer than the previous one. This can be helpful if you’re going after pace/running more aggressively, but I prefer a long easy run my Peg40s than in my Peg41s. Peg41s do feel perfect for a run that is at effort/higher speeds.

@Trexgaming-yhu23 Try breaking it up into smaller intervals. Example, jog 1k, walk .5k & then repeat that cycle until you hit 5k overall.
