why do artists layer colors down on the sketch and then re do the linework and render it? trying to understand so i can learn how to art better ;-; your art is super gorgeous btw!!! <3
Thanks for the question. The reason I make color sketches and then draw lines is so that I have a clear image of the finished product before I finish the illustration. To avoid getting lost in the process.
