I think that line caught us all off guard LOL. Tbh it makes you realise it's quite surprising that Astarion is usually as normal as he is, after having been through...well, 200 YEARS OF PURE SHIT. And also it's adorable that Neil said he had to say the line quietly because his kid was asleep. Imagine being his kid and you're just awoken in the middle of the night by your father screaming "PURE SHIIIIIT!" xD

Like a man who has mannerisms that are flamboyant and slightly effeminate, maybe dresses in tacky clothing and paints his nails, all of that can be considered "campy". And it's usually associated with gay guys. But it is not necessarily attached to sexuality.

@ComedyLoverGirl no, but really people associating orientation with looks was always so odd to me. I thought we passed that phase where everu lesbian has to be cartoonishly masculine and every gay has to act sassy or "feminine"
I got to this scene without being spoiled by anything and it really struck me as so incredibly powerful, you could really feel how sick he was of the world, of everything and how he just had a soul of fury and bitterness at how life had been.

I believe the person's name is Fistypuffs, which I guess is a play on fisty cuffs (free hand boxing).
Absolutely one of the best delivered lines in the whole game. First time I heard it, it absolutely caught me off guard and honestly, kinda stunned me. Neil nailed his role as Astarion.
From which scene is it?
For me it happened at the camp you automatically spawn into after leaving the shadowcursed lands. You can approach Astarion and he'll start talking about Cazador being close. Though I don't fully remember which exact dialogue choices triggered this line for me. Might also be that all of them do, with some slight variations
@@lavishlyvice I THINK it was about (act 2 and possibly 3 spoilers) he was tempted by taking cazador's power, not just a true vampire, but an ascended vampire, so you can question him on wether he thinks that's right, so he comes with that
