    Wealthy people doing wealthy people things... shame on you... For my own selfish reasons I find myself wishing that those gorillas would rip them new a$$es... but I know that would only bring harm to them at an even greater scale... shame on them all...

    • @aneeshmenon5885
      @aneeshmenon5885 2 года назад

      Sure it would be best to limit the gorillas interactions with humans but also remember these wealthy people paying money for this experience goes a long way into funding the gorillas protection and conservation.

    • @bijouchablis3438

      @@aneeshmenon5885 Oh here we go again with the same old excuse....People give this same petty reason over and over and over again trying to justify imposing on the private life of these creatures and It is sickening absolute BS. You can clearly see these creatures do not want to be disturbed. They are in there world. YOU SHOULD NOT BE ALL UP IN THERE SPACE LIKE THAT. Shame on all of you cocky gorilla trekkers with absolutely no boundaries what so ever. These gorillas need to be left alone period. If the wealthy actually really cared about them they would NOT BE BOOKING THESE ADRENALINE RUSH TREK TRIPS and just contribute money so their privacy and their land stays safe instead of having to be all up in there business disturbing their family life and babies peace of mind.. Unbelievable the disrespect for our wild life is appalling. Maybe if one of those silverbacks has enough of your shenanigans and bitch slaps your soul into a factory reset maybe then you'll think twice about invading their space and privacy. You can spend hours on the internet looking for a gorilla trek where a human got hurt but you wont find one because these behemoths are peaceful. Goes to show who the real animal is.

    • @robdudzinski3177
      @robdudzinski3177 Год назад

      Why so hostile? It looks like a shared experience to me. I'm afraid this interaction is the only way to guard against their demise. Remember the production of cell phones is exceedingly more important to the masses than gorillas are.

    I am not better than other people and would pay dearly to get close to these critters. BUT..this is not a smart safari.. The gorillas (or any other wild animal) are just that ANIMALS.! 1) they can catch a disease from us and get wiped out 2)should a mother fear for her progeny she might attack.... and what would happen then..?would the wardens and guards go to the extreme and euthanise an innocent animal for having behaved like an animal...? These tourists with deep pockets were TOO CLOSE All the safaris must be policed for enforcing common- sense rules.. If not, you can bet that "s..t" will happen..and i pity the gorillas..!

      The money these tourists pay keep these animals safe from poachers. If their money disappears, so do these animals... As far as wondering about fatal gorilla attacks, last I'd checked, the internet would be a great place to look...

    • @weirdarthistorian

      These are habitated gorillas being used to human presence. Before the tourist they were constantly observed by scientist and even veterinarians too. Gorillas are anyway calm and passive creatures not looking for troubles unless they are not feel threatened or challenged. The access to gorilla trakking is extremely limited btw. There are only small groups allowed per day per gorilla group. The time with the gorillas is limited only up to one hour. You cannot enter whenever you like, so you need to book a special permit from the wildlife authorities. It costs between 500 to 800 $ per single entry. So you won't meet the typical Instagram tourists there. And it's not for everybody. It's not like a zoo or safari. You walk through the jungle in the company of rangers. There is never a 100% chance of even finding the gorilla group you search for as they move around in search for food. Sometimes you can spot them after a one hour trail and sometimes it needs seven or eight hours walk within a dense jungle, which is not a walk in the park. And the fees paid by tourist are used for the national park and gorilla protection.

      Absolutely NOT..TRUE.! They are, like all "creatures of other species", WILD ANIMALS and can and will sometimes go berserk...! All the tourists with deep pockets are competing for the CLOSEST SPOT NEAR THE GORILLAS.. and they will have one day an unprovoked attack...!! Also humanoids carry diseases that could easily wipe out a whole family of these beautifyl anumals..!

    My fear is that these beautiful gorilla's will get so accustomed to humans being around them that they will not fear people and won't be able to protect themselves from human poachers. Even if the gorilla's are in protected areas poachers still get the gorilla's at times. I think it's safer for the wild life to have people completely away from them

    • @jadezee6316
      @jadezee6316 5 лет назад

      your fear is warranted....though they do have patrols out constantly looking for criminal poachers...but..remember..it is no longer possible to avoid gorilla treks..since it is an over 400 million dollar a year business that pays villages and buys food that would be used by gorillas land to grow.....that money is what allows these majestic animals their land to live as nature intended.....

    • @bytesmichael2279
      @bytesmichael2279 5 лет назад

      We were told there was around 20 families in this area, half were off limits to the tourists and only rangers and researches had access with masks. The other half were used for tourism visits. Although us tourists were there for the first time you need to understand there are local people living in or near by so they always have contact with humans to some extent.
