Very nice interview thank you for posting! Very excited for new Soulfly! I personally think that everything from the old Sepultura till Chaos A.D. included sounds outdated. Just a personal opinion from a mixing engineer and a listener born in 1990. It would suffice just to rerecord guitars and put more bass though the rest is ok. Could be done using AI stem separation.

It is a nice thought but nobody can come close. He was such a special person and is greatly missed. R.I.P.

I can't believe that it was 30 years ago...my pal Kieron came up to me and said..."Rory Gallagher has died". I was totally floored. Rory was my great guitar hero right back to the early 70s.

Joe, remember to smile. The essence of Rory live, was how it showed how much he enjoyed playing.

I agree with Joe's sentiments - some rich wank buying Rory's battered Strat as an investment should have money, instead; that's mostly what that sort are interested in anyway. But Rory's family - who contributed to his art - ought to be looked after. I also agree with Joe that Rory's axe should stay in Ireland. (Sigh)so what's a poor Blues-Rock fan to do, eh?
