Toledo Storm probably still is in top 5 or so of penalty minutes for a game with 303 minutes in a game versus Columbus Chill in Columbus 92, 93 or so... My dad was there, in Columbus lol, right lol

I sat in top row behind the Storm bench when Mcsorley kicked Spenrath in the head! Greatest times of my life in Toledo Sports Arena! I believe like almost 200 penalty minutes in a playoff game.

Remember all this! Great interview and great times! Greg Spenrath was a staple of these years and Suhy was a beast! Literally! You boys done heard many Spenrath stories now. Diesel has some as well. He fought him and done very well! You boys have done an excellent job this summer and I can't thank you enough for bringing back all these memories! Spenrath broke away from ref and charged the bench and took a swing and Mcsorley booted him. After the game we went by the locker room and Booth is trying to make his way back thru the lobby to the locker room it was packed . He went to the refs room to yell at them for I'm guessing letting spenrath loose. There's a quick clip of it on the championship season highlights video

That was freaking awesome! I feel fortunate to have experienced the championship years and the sports arena. As bad as it was it was a great place to watch a hockey game. Looking forward to the next interviews. Keep em coming. Great job guys!

MBN will most likely need time in the AHL to adjust to the North American game and ice sheet. If he makes a jump this year it will be to the AHL. That would really clog up the top of the pipeline. It looks like end of 24/25 and start of 25/26 you’re looking at Kasper, Danielson, Mazur definitely knocking on the door. Soderblom is a possible. If you accelerate the MBN progression that really makes things tough. I really expect MBN and ASP to play in the SHL this year, AHL next year and graduate to the NHL the 26/27 season. I think the organization needs that pacing in order to orderly bring these prospects up. It’s hard to see a world where 4+ prospects start on the big club in a single season. Wallinder is 1+ away and Cossa is 1+ away. Buium is 1+ away. There’s a lot of great talent here. I’m excited about all of these guys. I’m still hoping Ammo can put it together. Still hoping Hanas can pull it together.

You don’t sign Lagesson at 775K to push out anyone on this roster and or roadblock Edvinson or Johansson. Laggeson was signed for the AHL. Unless Holl or Petry get put on waivers Lagesson won’t play in Detroit other than an injury call up. Edvinsson will be given a lot of rope. You don’t need a Lagesson type player when you’ve got a better Ollie Maata.

I still think emit Finney will be included in the lineup and I could see Husso and Hull being in Grand rapids because I could see those being the guys getting waived and not being picked up

In regards to being a pest, look no further than the best, Brad Marchand. Regardless of what he does, he's still having laughs with the refs, you can be a pest to the other team, and not ruin your rep with the refs.

I'm kinda convinced Stevie Y checked out this season with the Wings, which would explain all the 1 year deals on this team, you cant tell me Johansson wouldnt be an improvement over Petry or Holl, id argue we should have had ED and Johansson as are second pair and Ben and Petry the third but I digress, I think the only reason for the lack of prospects in Detroit was for Cossa to develop, cause if GR defence lacks in front of Cossa then he'll never develop properly, its the only thing that makes sense. As for the Burger situation I got nothing there, i keep getting told its cause of defence but news flash, Cat, Kane, Sprong and Fabs are all terrible defensively so what difference does that make

Can you explain the division layout of the AHL? Long time wings fan just started checking on the griffins the last year or 2 and didn't realize we were in the central and not in the east like the wings are
