Just a helpful 'hint from Heloise' on pronunciation... As far as I've seen, Japanese words written in english that contain the letter "i" have it pronounced as a long "e". Therefore Iwo Jima would have Iwo sounded like ee-woah. Even trickier, the island of Ie Shima, at Okinawa, has Ie sounded as ee-ay. Incidentally, while we're at it, aircraft of the Ki series (like the Ki-43, for example) are not pronounced as separate letters, like kay-eye, but rather as the word which sounds like key. ;) Cheers! The very low hit rate due to bobbing up and down suggests you might benefit from tweaking the elevator response curve for the joystick input. I have mine set so that at the center it starts out at just 4%, rising smoothly to 100% only at maximum deflection. This permits much more precise control when not requiring larger pitch changes.

"Bow-leck" is an incorrect pronunciation of Boelke's name (it's "Bowl-kah"). Proper scrap you got into, Albatros vs F2b and Sopwith Pup, (a little bit early for SE.5s). Quite the dramatic kill on that second Pup, you don't see them explode like that very often. Congrats on making double ace!

Nice little spot of dogfighting there! Interesting note about the balloon busting you did: You mentioned it being a bit of a shooting gallery, which if anything was the opposite of what it was in real life. Observation balloons were usually protected by absolutely murderous AAA batteries (at least by WWI standards), and the 17 balloons you've killed would actually rank you quite high among the IRL "balloon aces" of WWI. Granted, most of the real ones ended up dying to aforementioned AAA. Frank Luke of the USAAS is a good example. In his ~2 1/2 weeks on the front in 1918, he downed 14 enemy balloons, although he met his end trying to take down a group of three on the 29th of September 1918. Risky stuff IRL, in game (apparently) not so much

Your TrackIR wigging out when panning right to look aft looks to me like one of two things. Either the clip is moving to the camera's edge of field or the clip is over-rotated so as to cause an inversion of the point alignment. That things are OK when panning left suggests it's not a battery thing. I use the clip with reflective tape. If you're using the LED emitter pro clip, I suppose an element to consider is the IR LED's illumination angle being possibly exceeded. Anyway, just some ideas. ;)

15:43 oof, that stock Zero skin on the JCat zero model... This campaign wasn't vetted for UP3 very well (Comes from it being an old stock one I guess) For future reference, never EVER get into any sort of maneuvering engagement with a Zero. In all three attempts, keeping yourself fast/minimizing evasive wiggling to keep speed up would have prevented your death. Remember, this isn't a turnfighter, keep it fast, and keep it high up. Japanese aircraft will, with few exceptions, never catch you in a flat out straightline race.

The twin seater was also not an SE.5. That one I believe was an Airco DH9. As for the landing, I've noticed that brake-turning at high throttle settings can often cause that nose-stand you experienced. I'm sure you know this as well, but the award you got (translated) is "Iron Cross Second Class" Congrats on your ace status!

As the icon briefly showed, those weren't actually SE.5s or Camels, they were Sopwith Pups. Nevertheless, good show! Three kills in a mission, nearly an ace! The silver cup award is a nod to Richthofen's habit of commissioning a silver cup for every air-to-air victory he achieved (although he discontinued this practice later, as it became difficult to acquire sufficient silver to continue)
